Due to the aircon not working properly we did not have a comfortable stay. Due to the time of year it was so hot we had to open windows and have the ceiling fan on high so we could sleep. Additionally one of the power points in the bathroom was not working. Both issues were reported to management.

Needs a bit of a revamp

If I’m honest, the place needs some maintenance. The fan was almost going to fall off the ceiling. The air conditioner was so loud. One of the switches in the bathroom didn’t work and the lamp had wiring that was a danger for electrocution. There was a lot of mould in the shower. So it really needs a bit of a revamp. It did the job but wasn’t great. The staff were great a check in

The location is great. Very close to Palmer street restaurants and pubs. Also close to the stadium. The hotel is a little old and tired. The bed was a little too firm and could feel springs in places. Our bathroom light stopped working twice. There is no way to contact reception from the room or if it's not between the hours of 9am to 5pm.

The view was brilliant. Lovely big balcony. The pillows were hard and lumpy. 2 spare blankets would have been more comfortable. Unit was I felt poorly stocked with only one very large frying pan. No salt and one very small soap. There was aliquid soap but for 2 adults staying 5 nights it was not enough. Otherwise a greatspot to stay. Thank you.

The property had good amenities including a washer and dryer unit, and TV. However, during our two day stay, we found a cockroach in the kitchen and the staff at this property has been avoiding several attempts at communication with them about this issue.

The room was clean which was most important however the reception is only open from 9-5pm so if you are checking in later we saw reviews of being unable to get into the building. We had to make sure we were there by 330pm to avoid issues with check in. There is also no safe in the room. Was good for 1 over night stay

We were in Townsville to go to the footy and the booking was a bit last minute on a very busy weekend. The hotel was convenient and in walking distance of the stadium, The hotel wasn’t bad and served our purposes but, for the price, it didn’t set me on fire either.
