Captain’s Quarters is located on Main St. In downtown Frankfort.

Please note that from Memorial Day thru September, we do Weekly rentals from Friday to Friday, with check outs at 11 and check ins at 4pm. Beautiful three bedroom condo overlooking Betsie Bay and Lake Michigan. Located on Main Street, walking distance to all downtown venues and Lake Michigan beach.

Overlooking the municipal marina and adjoining the Betsie trail for awesome biking, running and walking. We are also located next to the Mineral Springs Park. It’s rumored that the Mineral Spring water is a great cure for hang-overs! Children of all ages will enjoy the Mineral Springs play structure & volleyball court.

Enjoy an outdoor drive in movie at the local Cherry Bowl Drive-In less than 20 minutes north of town.

Platt River Canoe Livery is 15 minutes away for a great day of canoeing.

Don’t forget about Crystal Mountain, they offer all year round activities, from golfing & water slides in the summer, to down hill & cross country skiing in the winter, another venue less than 20 minutes away.

Storm Cloud Brewery is also down the street and has the best beer and popcorn around!

If wine is your drink of choice, check out St. Ambrose Winery Bar with live entertainment every weekend!

A couple of our favorite spots are the Villa and Hotel Frankfort on Main St, they have great food & drinks with karaoke on Fri & Sat night at the Villa. Great drinks!

The Farmers Market is just outside our door every Saturday morning and has great local produce and local arts and crafts.

The Alpaca Farm is around the corner on River Road and is a great family outing. Also on River Road, you can enjoy a tour of Gwen Frostic’s Studio to view her great stationary & picture prints.

Best Condo in Frankfort

My family has been visiting the area for almost 20 years and we faithfully return to the Captain’s Quarters. They provide clean, comfortable, convenient accommodations that are central to all Up North attractions. The elevator to the parking garage is great for older folks. The kitchen and bedrooms have everything you’ll need. The large screen TV and fireplace make rainy days comfy. This place is a gem!

We had a wonderful time - the hosts are very nice and very easy to work with - they helped us a lot. The place is very clean , nicely furnished and comfortable. We really couldn't ask for more as it had everything we needed . Location is great !

A Reliable Gem

We have stayed at the Captain’s Quarters several times and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in northern MI. Frankfort has plenty of great restaurants, affordable shops, a movie theater and the beach. The Captain’s Quarters has all the amenities to make you feel right at home. The owners are friendly and responsive. A great rental!

A get away to the Captain’s Quarters is a special time!

The Captain’s Quarter's in Frankfort is a wonderful place for a family to vacation at Christmas-Skiing is 20 minutes away and small town shopping full of friendly folks is a block away. Storm Cloud Brewing has a great atmosphere and food for all appetites. The condominium has plenty of comfy beds and a big open kitchen with an island. The TV is huge and you feel like you’re at the theater when watching a movie. Love the elevator to the condominium to make moving in and out easy. You’ll love the place!

Perfect “Up North” Michigan Summer vacation !

My family loved it ! More than roomy , clean condo with a large walk -out deck with an awesome view . We loved that the shops and cafes were right out the door and the beach just down the street.

Another wonderful vacation in Frankfort

We enjoyed our stay at the Captain Quarters. The location is perfect, a short walk to the farmer’s market as well as the beach. The condo was very spacious for our family. We enjoyed the open kitchen with made meal prep easy. Loved that a grill and bicycles were provided.

Great Place!

The condo was exactly as promised. The location and the view were both perfect! Close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The place was clean with lots of natural light and (so important) the beds were comfortable! The kitchen is well stocked. The owner, Marc, was helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. A wonderful stay!

Top Notch Accommodations

I have stayed at The Captain’s Quarters 3 summers in a row. The space is roomy enough for my 10-person group and it is stocked with everything you need including a full kitchen, toiletries, a grill and more. There is ample parking and easy access with a combination lock—no house keys to keep track of. The owners are responsive and respectful. The location is steps away from all Frankfort has to offer. This is a great spot for your Northern Michigan vacation!

Great Condo For A Family Vacation

This condo is convenient to the Main Street shops, restaurants and of course, the beach! The breathtaking view of Lake Betsie is amazing to wake up to and magical as the last thing you see before falling asleep. There is ample parking, three large bedrooms, a big screen TV and a kitchen complete with small appliances. The owner responds quickly and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. A great rental!

Our family had a wonderful time staying in at this property. It was clean, beautiful and the views were amazing. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The spot was a great location for tracing to many fun spots. It was worth the cost. I would give it more stars if I could!

Just Perfect!

My family has rented in Frankfort for years and this home is by far the best. The location was amazing with close proximity to the downtown and amazing views of the bay. The kitchen had new cookware and was fully stocked with spices and all types of utensils needed to put together a great meal. The keyless entry made coming and going super convenient. The kayak and the grill were perfect for outdoor fun. This place has everything you need, from extra phone chargers to paper plates. It's a great home base for exploring Northern Michigan.
