Room was clean, beds were hard. When you check in they give you cards to fill out for your boxed breakfast. They were not very good. The donut wasn’t edible. After checkout else discovered we were charged almost $40 for 4 breakfasts! No one ever said anything about breakfast not being free like It is at most hotels! The hotel Is showing its age decode is hardy. Certainly doesn’t live up to the 9.6 rating!

Check in was fast and the staff was very nice. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Love staying in this area because it's so much quieter! No more breakfast buffet, but they had a lot of choices and delivered to our room. Love this hotel and property!

I was hesitant to book this property because the price was low for the area but the pictures looked nice. Upon walking in to the lobby we knew it was a good choice. The front desk person was helpful and welcoming, room was very clean and we loved looking over the beach.

I have to say front desk so friendly and showed me other rooms we wanted to see when we come back with our family. So helpful for our future trips here. Only suggestion would be put out small tables on beach area, so people could put their drinks down. We will be back.

Things were just ok. The hot tub wasn't hot, just warm. Our biggest complaint is that Grand Beach used to have the best continental breakfast. Now they leave boxed breakfast outside your door in the morning. We have been staying at this hotel for over 20 years and we will be staying somewhere different our next trip.

Our room was clean with a beautiful view of Traverse Bay. Loved having the balcony to sit on and take in the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets The sites of boats on the horizon and sounds of water and birds added to the experience. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great and having it delivered to the room was an added bonus. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
