We enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good. The room...a little cramped. Getting stuff into the closet was painful, the sink area was tight, too. Shower was great, though...steam, too. Overall, wonderful stay and we would stay again.
Our first time to Chattanooga/Lookout Mountain. The Inn was great with good food, nice conversation with the innkeepers, and good restaurant and activity recommendations. The breakfast area is very pleasant.
We really liked this place even though we had rain and fog our whole stay and couldn't see a thing from Lookout Mountain! It is older and could use some refurbishing, but the staff was wonderful and delivered tasty breakfast sandwiches or French toast with bacon to our room each morning with muffins, yogurt and granola, coffee and orange juice. It was a terrific Covid-safe option with very few people around when we stayed. We loved the outdoor firepit area and would have liked to use it more!
Property grounds was clean and well maintained. I loved the historic look of the property. The parking can be difficult for larger vehicles. I was not expecting the queen room to be as small as it was, though it was still clean and comfortable. I would recommend it for its location on Lookout Mtn.
Due to Covid, the staff was extremely careful and made the best effort since we could not eat in the dining room. They went the extra mile to provide us a lunch packed so we could take with us when we left early the morning of our departure.
Great place to stay, excellent location, only few feet from rock city. The breakfast was excellent, the only issue we had is the size of the cabin is smaller than I expected and had limited space
Jane was a delight! She gave a thorough tour when I checked in and made me feel right at home. The Benedict for breakfast was delish and the entire experience made me want to return again soon!
