This was our second time staying at the Britannia, and we enjoy the hotel very much. The service is top-notch and the hotel is located very convenient to shopping and dining. Two things of note - the breakfast is run like a "fine dining" experience, with many staff hovering, and that is not needed - it is a breakfast buffet, show us to our table, serve coffee, and then leave the diners alone. Our main complaint, though, was the Wifi, or lack of Wifi, on the 6th floor. For 3 days we struggled to get a poor Wifi signal and failed. When I asked at the front desk, I was told that "we're having problems with the Wifi on the 6th floor. Really?? At the room prices charged, the Wifi should be lightning quick and always available. I've had better Wifi at a small-town Holiday Inn in the U.S. The Britannia should have an IT staff available 24/7 to fix any Wifi issues at the prices that you charge. Come on, you can do better than that!

Grand hotel with spectacular breakfast room and incredible selection of top-quality food. Comfy room but two quibbles: 1)tv is within a large mirror, with room reflection visible in the tv picture - and 2) the room's hall light goes on automatically if you get up in the night (waking up others in the room)

Decor wonderful, staff excellent, gym was amazing - best gym I've been to in ages! Spa also nice, 5 different temperature saunas/hot rooms, and the massage was top notch, thoroughly enjoyable - perfect pressure all the way through. Found breakfast a bit on the formal side for my taste - i've never had a pianist play at breakfast before!!!

Superb staff. Pleasant . Professional . Go out of their way to anticipate how they can help create a great experience for you . Excellent breakfast in stunning dining room. Beautiful rooms. By far the best hotel my partner and I have ever stayed at! We loved the room and spacious bathroom. The bed was so comfy! The gym and pool area was super modern. Also had one of the best breakfasts we’ve had the following morning! We can’t wait to stay at this hotel again!!

The breakfast buffet could have been better. The cinnamon buns were dry. The cheese board was boring. The coffee was warm but not hot. The quality of the ingredients was without exception. The execution can improve. I have to admit I am a bit jaded. All other aspects of the hotel were excellent.
