## Emplacement
Situated 200 km from Paris on the Côte Fleurie, Trouville offers a picturesque fishing port, a charming seaside resort and a rich architectural heritage. Trouville has had the good fortune to have been discovered by artists. It was in 1825 that landscape painter Charles Mozin fell in love with the resort. On his return to Paris, he constantly extolled its charms, exhibiting his canvases in Parisian salons and arousing the curiosity of other artists, painters and writers, before quickly arousing the interest of Parisian high society. It was during this period that splendid villas, hotels and casinos were built along the seafront. Today, all these buildings form a rich architectural heritage for the resort.
