Located in a tranquil, scenic neighborhood, this accommodating mountain home provides plenty of space to relax with your crew after a day of skiing or watersports. Hang out in the large living room complete with a gas fireplace or in one of the two patios. For those interested in dining in, guests can embrace their inner chef in the fully equipped, open-concept kitchen. This home is located in Northstar and is within walking distance to the village and rec center that offers a shuttle service to the slopes. Enjoy!

Situated in the snowy Sierra Nevada Mountain range straddling the border between California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe offers stunning panoramic scenery and year-round adventure. Visitors flock here especially to ski and snowboard on dramatic slopes that seem to fall into the abyss of the lake’s cobalt blue water. Whether you’re looking for a day in the mountains or a booze cruise on the lake, you can have it all in Tahoe.

Each home is provided with 2 guest passes which allow exclusive access to the Northstar Resort Community (a nominal charge may apply for some activities). This entails very easy access to the slopes (free shuttle available throughout the neighborhood), as well as, other amenities provided through Northstar Property Owners Association (pool, spa, tennis, fitness center).

- This home allows up to 2 dogs for a fee; undisclosed pets brought without AvantStay’s approval may result in a $500 fine per pet.
- This home does not have a BBQ due to fire safety regulations.
- Please note that during the winter months, all outdoor furniture is unavailable.
- Due to extreme wildfire risk, any type of outdoor wood-burning fireplaces, fire pits, or charcoal grills are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in fines starting at $5,000 per Lake Tahoe short term rental regulations.

- This home has a max overnight occupancy of 10 guests and a max daytime occupancy of 15 guests.

- Unauthorized parking at the Rec Center is strictly prohibited. Guests are only allowed to park while using the facilities. Any vehicle found parked all day will be subject to a fine of over $500.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

This place was amazing. We have stayed in alot of rentals at Northstar but this was the best. Close to the parking for loading and unloading, and an easy walk up to the village. The place was updated and it feels alot more spacious.

Great Location

The location was key to a great ski vacation. We were easily able to walk to the village and get on the slopes. The condo easily accommodated 6 adults, with a great common area and separate areas for privacy.

Overall good/average stay, BUT misleading in description! Read fine print.

Description is misleading and does NOT include all of the amenities that are implied or described. I don’t want to be a consumer that has to read all the fine print to get my money’s worth. Felt more like a typical “bait and switch” deal, and didn’t feel as valued as a Custumer, but was now locked in once were were there. We didn’t find out until we got there that it does NOT include access to the community pool, gym, spa, and pickle courts unless you pay another $10 per persons per day! Also, no access to the BBQ, even when there is a picture of it. Lastly, no broom or vacuum to be found in the residence and none dropped off when they said they would. Response time to questions and inquires were pretty good, but it did seem to be a lot of lip service, being told 3-4 times I asked about the services described, that “unfortunately” it wasn’t available, with no follow up to provide alternatives or reconciliations. Overall, average place to stay, but it had several disappointments. You got my money this time, but won’t stay with Avantstay again.

Great location, so-so cabin

The location was great. We walked into the village as well as took the shuttle. Check-in was easy. The cabin is old and just ok. It's what you expect for these Northstar cabins but it would be great if owners could invest a little bit to improve them. The mattresses are very uncomfortable. The king mattress downstairs has a huge center divet and the foot end is higher than the head end. It made for a terrible nights sleep. We ended up on the couch. The other king mattress was better but still not great. The cabin smells. I think it is from the old carpeting and upholstery. As soon as you open the door you get a whiff of it. Many of the towels were dirty. They had dark brown spots and the makeup towels had makeup on them! The cabinet is on 3 floors. So there is a lot of going up and down stairs. Overall it is a great location, but would not stay here again.

Fantastic house and location

We had a great time staying at this house. Just less than 10mn walk to Northstar village and ski gondola and were able to ski back almost right to the front door. The place has everything you would need. Super nice and clean, great linens and bath products. Really everything was perfect. AvantStay team were super helpful (we arrived right before the big blizzard) and very responsive to any of our questions. I highly recommend this place.
