At nearly 1500 square feet, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is situated in beautiful Glenshire Truckee, CA, with expansive views of the great neighborhood.

Max number of occupants permitted: 8 ; excluding children under thirteen (13) years of age.

The 3 bedrooms include:
1) Master Suite: Queen bed, walk-in shower
2) A Bedroom with queen bed, and
3) A third bedroom with a double bed.
4) Available queen air bed that comfortably sleeps an adult 6 ft. tall.

Bed linens, towels and blankets are supplied.

The home also includes a large fenced yard with great back porch for morning coffee outside. Nice patio furniture in front (west) and back of the house (east) for outdoor enjoyment at anytime during the day. Great night time dining, star gazing or just people watch west desk view setting. Inside, you’ll find an ample warm kitchen/dining room to entertain: including, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffeemaker, cookware, and dinnerware. Also included is washer & dryer, continuous water heater, 51-inch and 48-inch Smart LCD televisions, wireless Internet/printer and Roku.

The property is conveniently located in Truckee’s Glenshire neighborhood, only 7 minutes east of downtown Truckee. The location provides easy access to all North Lake Tahoe destinations:

* Less than 5 miles to Boca & Stampede Reservoirs for fishing, hiking & swimming.
* 20 minutes to Kings Beach, Lake Tahoe
* 15 - 25 minutes to ski resorts including Northstar and Squaw Valley.
* 7 minutes to downtown Truckee.
* 25 minutes from Reno which offers gaming and an international airport.

Please note that the pricing and required minimum stay varies depending on time of year and holidays.

PLEASE ADHERE TO TRUCKEE'S TOWN ORDINANCE:
NOISE : Quiet hours are required between 10pm and 7am.
PARKING: On-site paved parking is required and no parking is permitted on the street or in an unpaved area. Your upstairs unit is designated the right inside the garage parking plus two more on paved driveway if desired. 3 parking spots total.
OCCUPANCY: No more than two people per bedroom plus two additional people are permitted, excluding children under thirteen. Your upstairs unit has 3 bedrooms (6 people).
ENFORCEMENT:Both guests and property owners may be cited and fined for non-compliance, with citations up to $500 per day for the first violation and up to $1,000 per day for subsequent violations. After 3 strikes, a rental’s registration certificate will be revoked and no new certificate will be issued for 12 months.
TRASH: Garbage bins are on the left side of the garage near the left side door.

Parking: 3 spaces
Full access and dedicated upstairs unit including the back and front upstairs deck.

There is a young professional living downstairs who is gone most of day. Both units are separate and do NOT share entrances.

Ski trip with adult kids

Cabin was very cozy. The beds were super comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. It was nice to have access to washer and dryer for wet ski clothes. Cute little neighborhood, we had carolers on Friday night! Well stocked general store nearby. The owner was very responsive and accomodating! We would stay here again.

Nice place, some easy fixed issues exist.

The house is very nice, comfortable and clean. The bad mattresses are comfortable, but new pillows should be on the list. The living room slider to the outdoor deck needs repair. The kitchen could use better knives (or just get what you have sharpened and properly stored - couldn't slice a tomato :-( ), as well as more eating utensils. The shared bath room tub diverter didn't work, so we all had to shower in the master bath room. It would be very helpful to have the wi-fi credentials WRITTEN and available inside the house to avoid the need to text the owner. I would definitely rent this property again in the summer.

The standard of upkeep one expects was well below expectations. On the surface things seemed clean enough but here are some of the repairs that need to be made.The surface of the oven door is detached from the infrastructure of the door.There are almost no screens on the windows.Batteries in some remotes were either missing or dead.Master bathroom issues: The light in the toilet area is an outside light fixture and it is broken at the neck. The bathtub half wall at the plumbing end, there is no sill. Just dry wall from the floor and an exposed underlying 2 x 6.The Living room slider door to the front deck does not close properly. Similarly, at least one window appears to be out of the track. No screens on any of these.The overhead light in the bedroom across from the master does not have a pull chain so can't leave the fan on.Hallway bathroom ceiling needs cleaning.The bedroom across from the master has no night stands by the bed.The unit uses Roku for television service. For those unfamiliar, like me, a "how to use Roku" sheet would be nice. One more attention to detail note. There was no icemaker, that was not a problem. There were three ice trays that had been in the freezer so long the ice had evaporated (remember High School chemistry, the term is sublimation) and was only a thin layer in the bottom of the ice molds in all three trays. We removed the ice trays and left them on the counter. Better to have empty trays than ancient ice!

Very comfortable stay

If you’re looking for a property that’s convenient, comfortable and spacious, you’ve found it! This property offers 3 comfortable bedrooms with 2 full baths at a price that can’t be beat. After spending a day out at the softball fields, we were able to come back and relax on the deck, enjoying the peace and tranquility this property offers. The owner takes pride in his home and is very helpful and quick to respond to any questions you may have. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone headed to Truckee or the North Lake Tahoe area. Thank you again for sharing your property with us. Hopefully we’ll be able to visit again next year.

Great place to get away!

This property was the perfect spot for a weekend get away with friends. About ten minutes from downtown Truckee and thirty minutes from Sugar Bowl ski resort. The place was very clean and supplied everything we needed. Super friendly and accommodating host. Overall, a great place to stay!
