Located in the heart of Northstar Village, guests just have to step out the door to explore all the shops, restaurants, and recreation center amenities. Situated in the snowy Sierra Nevada Mountain range straddling the border between California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe offers stunning panoramic scenery and year-round adventure. Visitors flock here especially to ski and snowboard on dramatic slopes that seem to fall into the abyss of the lake’s cobalt blue water. Whether you’re looking for a day in the mountains or a booze cruise on the lake, you can have it all in Tahoe.

Each home is provided with 2 guest passes which allow exclusive access to the Northstar Resort Community (a nominal charge may apply for some activities). This entails very easy access to the slopes (free shuttle available throughout the neighborhood), as well as, other amenities provided through Northstar Property Owners Association (pool, spa, tennis, fitness center).

With our Concierge Service, guests have access to our tech-enabled services like fridge stocking, private chefs, massages, transportation, special occasion celebrations, baby gear rentals, ski gear, beach gear, and more. Home Truths:
- We allow service animals at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Due to extreme wildfire risk, any type of outdoor wood burning fireplaces, fire pits, or charcoal grills are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in fines starting at $5,000 per Lake Tahoe short term rental regulations.
- Please note that all outdoor furniture and amenities are seasonal and available from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
- This home is a studio and does not contain a full kitchen. Items provided are: microwave, hot plate, refrigerator, cooking pot, plates and silverware.
- This home does not have AC.
- This home has a max overnight occupancy of 4 guests and a max daytime occupancy of 6 guests.
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- The washer and dryers are located on the 3rd floor (not in-unit) and require quarters for use.
- Please note: Access to the NPOA Recreation Center requires a separate fee of $10 per person, per day, and is not included with your reservation.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

The good: the location can’t be beat. You can walk right out of the complex and your right in the heart of Northstar Village. And just a couple minute walk to the gondola. While the room is on the small side, it was perfect for three of us because of the bunk beds. Also, the parking pass was a big help because parking is very limited there. Finally, we requested an early check-in and weren’t able to get in at our desired time, but they still were able to get us in a couple hours early which was a massive help. The communication with them was great.The bad: the pillows on the main bed and two towels in the bathroom had multiple long hairs on them. And there was unopened beer on the back patio. And some garbage underneath the nightstand that got missed during the cleaning process.Despite these little nuances, I still give them five stars because of the location and their communication. It’s a great rental overall.

Toilet was running non-stop!!!No door between bathroom area (sink) and the main bedroom, which would have been nice for privacy. There is one between bathroom and sink.No kitchen! There is only a coffee maker, toaster, microwave. No sink for dishes. Just a room with lots of comfortable beds.Perfect for DH or Snow, if you aren’t cooking.Location is great, parking is great and the room and balcony was great. If you need beds and no kitchen, book this place!!!!

It's a little confusing in terms of spacing. With the size of the bathroom and the small amount of space for food prep, it's not really an appropriate room for 5 people (a queen bed, plus a double/twin bunk bed). We had two people and would have preferred the bunk bed area to be a seating area/larger kitchen space. The AvantStay management was very responsive to our requests and fixed the issues within hours (clogged sink and broken coat rack). The location of the venue was about as ideal as you could get! It was a little hard to find the parking space - Northstar is a very large ski resort and the parking is in the back of the building.

Must go!

We were bunch of friends went for a short weekend trip. The place was clean. Lot of cafes and shops right below. Skating rink in 2 mins walk. Beds were clean and comfortable. I would encourage quicker response from owner but it was not too bad either. Nicely done patio.
