Staff was friendly, although they put me in a room far from reception, even though there were very few people at the hotel. Also, the safe did not work. And when I left my room a few times, someone came in to drop off oranges and dates, which was nice. But I told the front desk that my safe was not working and no one came to help. Unfortunately it seems that someone took money out of my bag which I did not notice until I left Tunis. It would have been nice to have a working safe. I also did not appreciate people coming into my room without my permission or me knowing. The spa was nice, but with my money being gone, I can’t say this was a great hotel.

A beautiful hotel set in a quiet corner of the Medina. Staff were helpful. Breakfast up on the roof was also good. We wish we could have stayed longer.

I loved this Dar (hotel). The hotel is exceptionally clean, the pool is lovely, the staff are super helpful and the breakfast is amazing. I especially like the little dish of chocolates and fruit that is delivered to the room of an evening. This hotel is excellent value.

Dar Dorra was a fantastic experience. Room was perfect - nice size and most facilities you would expect in larger hotel chains. Breakfast buffet was great but was same everyday but there was enough variety to not get bored. Location was perfect for the bazaar and for sightseeing. Complimentary fruit and chocolate every night which was very nice. The property is well maintained and very beautiful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. If you want to stay in the Medina this is the go to place you won't be disappointed.

This hotel is an absolute gem. I loved my stay here. Being in the Medina was so special. The hotel is beautiful. You have no idea what’s behind that wall and beautiful doors from the street. It’s a palace inside with lots of beautiful rooms, staircases leading to more beautiful rooms and up to the rooftop with a fabulous restaurant and views of the city. I stayed in one of the bed & breakfast rooms in Dar Dorra. It exceeded all expectations. The staff were wonderful. I could not have asked for more.

Exceptional stay

This was a great stay in the medina. Exceptionally clean, great service and very comfortable beds. The rooftop is lovely as well for breakfast and a few drinks. Would highly recommend staying here
