The staff was very friendly and efficient. Our room really needs updating from the furniture to the floor. The shower was fine and the beds were good. The best part was being right across the street from Lake Michigan.

Beautiful Views, Friendly Staff

Beautiful views of Lake Michigan, friendly staff, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. The pool and hot tub are very nice. The only downside to staying here are the paper-thin walls. Unfortunately, not all guests are mindful of the other people who are trying to sleep between 10pm and 6 am. This has happened on two of our stays here. The staff was very helpful the first time this happend, the second time was at 3AM and did not want to bother staff.

Property was advertised as a hotel, which it is not, it is a motel (big difference). We had a ground floor room, we could hear the person above us because the floors were very squeaky; we heard every step they took and everything they dropped. this was particularly annoying, when they decided to get up at 4:45 am to leave early - 30 minutes of unrelenting noise. after they left, we had about 15 minutes of quite then our next door neighbor let his phone alarm buzz and jingle for a good 10 minutes before hitting snooze, quiet for another few minutes then the buzzing and jingle again for 10 minutes, and then a 3rd round of this (all before 6 am). Unless you can sleep through this type of noise, I would not recommend this motel. Definitely not a fan.

Wonderful motel option

Wonderful place to stay for a motel. Nothing fancy, but clean and had a great outdoor sitting area and nice pool area the kids love. Onsite mini golf is a plus. We were able to take the dog and had a great time. Lake Michigan right across the street is also pretty neat. Also super close to numerous attractions and beaches.
