Upon arrival I was told there were no evening meal options available due to incomplete work in the kitchen & also no hot breakfast options only continental (which wasn’t especially good), as it was late in the day & I had prepaid for my stay there wasn’t an option to go somewhere else, I feel this should have been communicated at the booking stage as it was only booked the day previously, even a call or a message to update guests, a discount wasn’t even offered as way of compensation for the inconvenience.

Thank you for this,.We were not informed that the equipment engineer would not be coming back until the next day, to fit all kitchen equipment back in place. This was 4.30pm on the Monday, and so we had no way of opening up the kitchen to serve food. It was totally out of our hands, and so the only option was to recommend a local pub for evening meals and provide a nice continental breakfast the next morning. We do apologise for this.

Breakfast was average ,But our evening meal very good could have more tea coffee and milk in the room one per person was not good enough

Great Hotel with great staff.
Posted Mar. 6, 2024 on HotelsWe had an amazing stay at this hotel. Staff was very helpful and catered to our every request. We were traveling with a small baby and the hotel made every effort to make the stay comfortable for us. We checked in late, so for the first night we got an average room but hotel was kind to upgrade us for the next night. Upgraded room was wonderful with jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and full view of the river. We liked the room so much that we decided to extend our trip for one more night.
