Grand Harbour, Valletta, Malta - sleeps six

The perfect base for your self-catering holiday in Malta, our apartment is situated on Dahlet Gnien Is-Sultan ('the Site of the Sultan's Garden') just outside the city walls of old Valletta, a World Heritage City, and within easy reach of all facilities and transport links. On the quayside just below us is the new fast ferry terminal to Gozo (takes 45 mins, every 2 hours - foot passengers only) and ferries across to the Three Cities.

The apartment has a balcony and large roof terrace, sleeps up to 6 people and is newly refurbished throughout with modern, stylish furniture and new appliances. Click on the photos section to see the interior, views and surrounding area (but our full 180-degree view was too big to upload!)

The apartment sleeps up to a maximum of 6 people and has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and two double sofa beds in the living room. Modern and stylish bath/shower room, and a second guest toilet.

The accommodation is spacious - 142 sq metres or 1,525 sq ft - light and airy throughout with traditional Maltese features such as the rustic wooden shutters on the windows and balcony doors. There is a separate TV lounge with 120-channel XLHD cable TV. There is free internet access with unlimited data usage. Ample bed linen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels.

Large kitchen/breakfast room with lots of character (1960s retro-style) and a dining table seating six, fully equipped including coffee maker, kettle, toaster, washing machine, ironing facilities. We can provide a Welcome food pack containing tea, coffee and sandwich-making provisions for your arrival, if you wish.

The apartment balcony is small but has a patio-size glazed ceramic and wrought iron table and two chairs - perfect for your morning cup of coffee. The roof terrace, however, is very big with an olive tree, oleander and bougainvillea plants, a large garden table and six chairs where you can take your meals al-fresco, and two sun-loungers with a parasol.
