Come Stay at the C5 Ranch!!!!!
This beautiful 6 bedroom country home sits on 30 acres covered with large oak trees. Perfect for a large family, groups, reunions, weddings, hiking, fishing (water levels vary due to rain), wildlife observing, swimming, ATVs, etc. It is truly a beautiful getaway. Only minutes away from the popular Magnolia Market and Baylor University. The C5 ranch has deer feeders that work year round and has an abundant amount of whitetail deer. Sit in the dining room or on the front porch and watch the deer in the mornings and evenings. A large basketball court with 2 adjustable goals, swimming pool, ping pong table, and hiking trails is the perfect getaway for the kids to play and enjoy their stay as well.

With 2 different BBQ grills offered on the C5 ranch you can grill out by the pool or in the covered outdoor kitchen area. A grocery store is less than 10 minutes if you choose to eat in. Visit McGregor Tx (less than 10 miles) for small town TX restaurants , or Waco is about 15 miles with a plethora of shopping, food, and entertainment.

In addition to the main house, we have a guest house that can be rented to accommodate up to 6 more guests if need be. It may also be rented to a seperate party at the same time but will not interfere in any way with the main house.

It was easy to find easy to check in the kids are disappointed. The ping-pong tables were broken. The outside kitchen was trash in the bin. The refrigerator had mold in it. It could’ve been a little cleaner. We enjoyed our stay.

Very spacious

What a great house! Lots of living space for a good sized group. We had family and friends, 16 of us to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from Baylor. The only think to know is that it is 30 minutes away from Waco.

The house is beautiful but could use some updates. Breakfast nook bench was all worn out. The upstairs bedroom had an artic cooling system that kept shutting down during the night.. It needed to be unplugged and plugged back in. Other issues too toework.

Family getaway for 75th Birthday

We had a family gathering for a 75th birthday. We had a great time swimming and hanging out around the pool. There is a lot of space to accommodate large families. Beds were very comfortable! Master bath is wonderful! Jon came by to meet us and showed us how to use the hot tub. We had a situation with a grease fire while grilling burgers. Jon was very kind and a class act. The Collins are good people and you will be in good hands! Rent this property!

Girls weekend

Large house with lots of bedrooms ( no bunk beds) that suited 14 ladies ranging in age from the 20’s to the 70’s. The owner is VERY responsive. It is a country house that is casual. Wonderfully spacious dining room was great for meals, crafts, and late night chats. We had a wonderful stay!

Large Group Meeting

Centrally located for our Sales retreat and meeting this was ideal for the 10 of us in the group. Lots of parking Jon checking in on us the first evening and made sure we were ok! Outside Waco but close enough if something was needed. The pool was a plus with the weather being Texas hot summer. Thanks for everything!

Fun filled weekend

It’s beautiful and very roomy. Grandchildren in their twenties loved the basketball court and pool enjoyed the ping pong table The outside cooking area was awesome. We had a great visit with the family and didn’t feel crowded at all.

Winning experience!

We stayed in the owner's lovely home during the Waco Ironman race and it was a wonderful experience. The homeowner was very accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and hiking the property. The chickens were fun to watch in the morning and we were the lucky recipients of some fresh eggs. We really enjoyed our stay and the house must have been lucky because my husband qualified for the World Championship in St. George, Utah. Thanks Jon for being a great host.

This place is an Amazing Get away

Me and some friends were looking for a quick get away from Dallas to celebrate the New Year holiday. This was the perfect place. The house is simply stunning. Our group was just adults. It’s very private and secure. We felt like we’re at a resort. The house is very spacious. We hiked to the lake. Sat outside on the outdoor patio Kitchen area played cards, laughing and just enjoying everyone’s company. Jon and his wife are just the best people you’d ever want to meet very gracious hosts. They met us with the warmest welcome, gave us a tour and background on the property, and left us to just enjoy the beauty of the ranch. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable there’s plenty of bathrooms and dinning enough for 12. We’d definitely stay here again. Thanks Jon and Joanne!

45th birthday getaway

Great please to get away from the city especially if you have children with you. There was plenty to do for our teens and they never got bored. From swimming in the pool, hiking the river, searching for fossils along the river, viewing the deer and even the neighbors huge ferral hogs...we didn't even have to leave to be entertained. Jessica and Jon met us upon our arrival to give us the tour of their beautiful home. They were very hospitable and responsive to any questions we may have had and even took the kids out to collects eggs from the chicken coop. We collected over 2 dozen eggs! We hope to come back again!

Baylor Graduation Weekend!

Jon and Jessica were great! They met us upon our arrival to their home and brought us water and had fresh eggs from their chickens. Jessica even made signs to congratulate my daughter on her graduation! Such a thoughtful thing to do! Their home is beautiful and was the perfect size for our family. The house is in a great location, easy to drive to Waco, Dallas and Fort Worth. We really felt at home and enjoyed our stay. If we go to Texas again, we will look to rent from Jon and Jessica! We started out as strangers and left as friends! <3

Wedding Weekend

We didn't know how we were going to celebrate our marriage with COVID, but I'm SO glad that we decided to have it here. It was a beautiful ceremony and we got some absolutely incredible photos out on the bluffs. It was very nice being able to spend the whole weekend here with our friends and family. The house is amazing and there was so much to do! The owners were absolutely wonderful to work with too. 10/10 would recommend!

Great for gatherings

We rented this home for a bachelorette weekend and it was perfect! The owners were very accommodating and had wonderful communication. Check in and out process could not have been more simple. The only thing I wish would have been different is the outdoor kitchen is on the opposite side of the home as the pool, making it difficult to grill and hang out at the pool simultaneously. The home is well stocked with ample space.

Perfect Place for our get together

We had an absolute wonderful time at this property celebrating the bride-to-be with friends and family. This location was very private and clean! Plenty of room to social distance and spend time outside. The owners were great to work with.
