Good for an overnight stay

The service and staff were very professional, pleasant, and attentive. We just wish that we had known the pool was closed before choosing to stay there. My kids were very disappointed about that, but otherwise the stay was fine. Being from the area, I already know it’s not a newer hotel, but the updates are noticeable and done well, it’s a very clean hotel, breakfast was great, and my 9yr old says he’d like to go back to see Patrick in the morning again (his waffles were delicious). There’s currently construction going on next door, but it was barely noticeable. The beds and pillows weren’t the coziest, but we’re fine for an overnight stay. I would probably choose to stay here again, but would call first to check the pool status at booking.

Hampton Inn Valpo is a excellent choice for a weekend stay. We've stayed at other local hotels and none compare to the Hampton. Pros- location, cleaniness, breakfast. Cons- pillows are flat and uncomfortable. The key card system was down and the manager had to let us in our room but it wasn't a problem.

Great clean hotel.

One of the cleanest I've stayed at in a long time. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Will stay there again.
