River cabin stay
Publié le 20 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayRental was clean inside, but the deck area needs attention. There was a thick layer of pollen on all the furniture, and a dead bird in the center of the floor. It was filthy. It appeared as if the deck hadn't had attention or cleaning for a long time. It definitely was not prepared fir the rental.

Beautiful View Along the Current
Publié le 9 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family group of five adults enjoyed our two nights here. The view and access to the Current was amazing. There are trees and vegetation between the house and river that allow for so many wonderful opportunities for bird watching right from the back screened in porch. We saw a bald eagle both mornings hunting just across the river. Other birds we saw were blue heron, green heron, cedar waxwings, hummingbirds, tons of warblers, red winged blackbirds, pileated woodpeckers, and a whippoorwill at dusk. We cooked breakfast and dinner both days and there was adequate cookware and tableware. The two secondary bedrooms are very small but the beds were comfortable, just not space for anything else. They do both have closets. The gas grill under the house worked well for cooking our meat. Overall it was a great experience.

Eclipse Trip

Perfect spot on the river

The pictures don’t give this place justice! It’s so nice and clean and has everything you need!
Sits right on the river and even has tubes to use!
Be sure to check out the link provided when you book. I thought it was just a what band is playing for the weekend link but it has what’s going on in the area as well. If I would have clicked on the link I would have seen they had boat races that weekend and could have planned accordingly!!
It was a perfect house for the perfect weekend!

River getaway
