Experience Vancouver living in our beautiful house with breathtaking views, located in the most affluent neighborhood in Vancouver - a quiet oasis in the city surrounded by lush greenery. Unbeatable, incredibly convenient location for visitors to Vancouver where you can stroll to some of Vancouver's best parks, shops and restaurants. 10 mins to downtown, airport, beach and UBC. Plenty of space for large groups to enjoy all that Vancouver has to offer.

Our house is located between Downtown Vancouver and the Airport. 5 Bedrooms and 6 beds (1 bedroom on the main floor and 4 bedrooms upstairs) - ideal for family vacations and reunions, business travel and corporate gatherings.

HOUSE:
The main level of the house is fully accessible (ground level with just a small step up) and features an open concept living room, dining area with mountain views, kitchen, full bathroom with a shower, bedroom with a queen-size bed & beautiful garden view, laundry and outdoor wraparound patio with full size BBQ and sitting area with mountain views. The top floor has 4 bedrooms - each bedroom has beautiful street or mountain views, 2 bathrooms and a balcony with panoramic views of the North Shore. Spacious sunny front yard with a Springfree trampoline and swing for younger guests to enjoy.

Our house is family-friendly and will have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We also have a travel crib, highchair and a stroller (Pocket Stroller) that you can use - please just let us know in advance what you may need.

There is plenty of FREE parking on the street directly in front of the house. Keyless entry throughout with self-check-in/check-out. Bus stop is just 2 short blocks away.

Perfectly situated for any direction you need to go with 10-15 minutes' drive to Airport, Downtown Vancouver, Granville Island, English Bay, Stanley Park, Kitsilano Beach, UBC and much more. We are a short walk to Kerrisdale Village and only 2 short blocks to Arbutus Greenway where you can enjoy a safe and comfortable 9-km walking and cycling route that begins at False Creek and ends at the Fraser River Centre leading to parks, Kitsilano Beach, Granville Island, Stanley Park and Coal Harbour. It's about 15 minutes' walk to VanDusen Botanical Garden and a short drive or ride to Queen Elizabeth Park. Public transportation is just 2 blocks away, which provides great access to all parts of Vancouver.

During your stay:
We meet and greet our guests and provide door passcode. There is self check-in / check-out. We live downstairs and are always available by phone, email or in-person to help with anything you might need. Please ask should you need to check-in earlier or later than the times listed and we will try to accommodate your requests.

Other things to note:
The backyard with the pool belongs to the separate - independent unit and is NOT included in the listing (not for guests' use).

Comfortable concert stay

There is much to say about this lovely rental. The property manager is within a few minutes away and was very responsive. The entire place is renovated and there is lots of character in this 1940's house. House was clean and while it didn't have AC it stays relatively cool with the large trees and windows. There are fans and a small window AC to help with hot nights. Very quiet and easily accessed area. We were close to almost everything!

Excellent Experience!

My family, including my elderly parents, were visiting from the east coast and we stayed at Ilya and Milena's lovely home in Shaughnessy. The house is beautiful and well appointed, and everything went extremely smoothly from check in to check out. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. In addition, Ilya went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. For example, he took the time and effort to build wooden ramps for the steps in the front walkway to assist my father, who has mobility issues, in entering and exiting the house. This made things much easier for all of us and was greatly appreciated. Ilya was also very flexible and accommodating regarding check in time, which was also extremely helpful. I give Ilya and Melina my highest recommendation without hesitation!

Beautifully decorated home in quiet, secluded neighborhood used by 6 adults and 3 children (ages 3,10 &11 Note: added daily fees for more than 6 persons). Hosts responsive to neighborhood amenities, i.e., about 1/2 mi. walk to restaurants, markets and public transportation. Kids enjoyed trampoline, tree swing and playroom although 1st floor glass furnishings made it somewhat trepidatious with children. This exceptionally clean, well maintained and well stocked home made our first visit to Vancouver enjoyable.

All Around Best

We so enjoyed our stay. Ilya was a great host; met us at the door, communicated quickly and was most helpful. The house is stellar, a perfect combination of modern and traditional, with lovely hardwood floors with inlay, and outstanding decor, much of it with clean lines that are pleasing to the eye. Appliances are top notch. You can tell it has been restored with pride. The neighborhood has beautiful houses and the greenery is amazing. The house is also within walking distance of several small neighborhood restaurants with great food. It’s a short drive to attractions too.

European Home in gorgeous Vancouver neighborhood

The home was a lovely 5 bedroom 3 bath two story structure with unbelievable views of the mountains. The ocean was 10 minutes away. It was centrally located to many places we visited in Vancouver. Check in and check out were simple! Our host immediately responded to any questions we had. My family loved our stay! 5 STARS!!!

Great for families

We greatly enjoyed our time at Ilya and Milena’s house. It is conveniently located in the Kerrisdale area in a highly walkable and lovely neighborhood. Their home is spotlessly clean and well taken care of. Ilya and Milena are very communicative and brought over towels in a moment’s notice at our request. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great stay!

Perfect location to explore Vancouver. Quiet, family-oriented neighborhood with great nearby parks yet super close to Downtown, UBC, Granville Island and Kitsilano beach. Beautiful, comfortable, immaculate house, well stocked with everything you need. Ideal for travelling with kids as there is playing room full of toys and large TVs in almost every room. Five bedrooms and three bathrooms provided plenty of space for our group (2 couples and 3 children). The layout is well designed for both privacy and gathering. Would highly recommend!
