OK for an emergency.

We really just wanted a shower and a bed to break up a long 1200 km trip from Stuttgart to the Atlantic coast. There were two of us; only one towel (and a bathmat). At 8:30 next morning, we were awakened by knocking on the door. My wife stumbled out of bed to check, and was asked by an employee when we expected leave. This although the checkout time was posted as 12:00 noon. Many areas of the hotel showed an extreme degree of wear and tear.

Good basic hotel, excellent staff

Used this hotel either side of attending a music festival in Brittany. On the outskirts of Vannes just off the motorway. Taxi to station about €11 to the town centre about €15. Bus route 8 calls hourly during day and fares €1.50 to from station/city. Hotel is on an industrial estate with other hotels and businesses within vicinity. Outside of hotel is tired looking and in need of renovations, however the inside of hotel including breakfast area is clean and modern. Rooms on 3 floors, no lift. Rooms are relatively compact and basic but clean and comfortable beds. 2 singles or double with single bunk bed above. All rooms have small but functional en-suite wet room. Good area for hanging clothes, storing luggage, small desk and chair. Has air-conditioning and small TV with basic French channels. Continental breakfast extra €6.20pp but good value as all you can eat basic buffet. Vending machine with basic snacks and hot/cold drinks available. All staff extremely friendly and helpful. No restaurant on site but very pleasant restaurant at Campanile hotel 50m away. 2 course set evening meal for €17.95pp. Also an automated pizza machine on site offering reasonable quality fresh cooked pizza for €11-15 Basic hotel offering good value for money and would be much improved if exterior was refurbished.

You get what you pay for

We’d stayed in another Premiere Classe near St Malo and we’re happy with that. The staff here were not so friendly and the hours that reception was open were very limited. Price is really cheap , but of course rooms reflect that—they are very small. That’s okay—I think the inacccessibility of the staff is the biggest issue

Comme j’étais Ă  pied (4 km depuis la gare), je pensais pouvoir trouver de quoi me restaurer autour de l’hĂŽtel, le seul distributeur de pizza Ă©tait vide. Les murs sont trop minces, j’ai entendu mes voisins parler jusqu’à minuit. Le lit est confortable mais la salle de bain est une cabine vraiment trop petite. Du papier toilette utilisĂ© pour boucher les aĂ©rations qui donnent sur l’extĂ©rieur, des brĂ»lures de cigarette au sol et une zone d’activitĂ©s peu engageante : Ce n’est pas cher, mais ce n’est vraiment pas terrible. Le personnel est agrĂ©able mais au petit dĂ©jeuner, il y avait vraiment trop de monde, plus de verres propres pour prendre un jus de fruits, pas de place pour s’asseoir. Je ne pense pas que je reviendrai
