I have stayed at B&B Portanouva three times now. The owners are incredible, the rooms are modern, clean and quiet and its location is central to downtown historic Vasto. I highly recommend B&B Portanouva.

Not a good experience even if the owner is nice.
Posted May 13, 2018 on HotelsThere was a strong smell of humidity and something like cigarette. I got asthma all the night. In the shower, there was used shampoo plastic pocket and the carpet was dirty.

Gentilissime ospiti, siamo stati molto lieti di accogliervi nel ns beb con il vostro bellissimo bimbo e siamo altrettanto dispiaciuti per l' odore di fumo . La camera e' molto arieggiata ed asciutta ma purtroppo non abbiamo percepito che l'ospite precedente avesse fumato in camera nonostante il divieto di fumare esposto a caratteri cubitali. Potevate esporci il problema e vi avremmo cambiato immediatamente la camera. Ci scusiamo ancora per l'inconveniente e faremo piu' attenzione in futuro che non si ripeta. Grazie per la segnalazione. Posted Apr. 2, 2018 on HotelsThis B&B is centrally located and within walking distance to everything. The hosts are a wonderful couple, very warm and friendly. The room I had was large but only had two tiny windows near the ceiling so it was a bit dark. There was abundant hot water and excellent water pressure in the shower. Unfortunately, the spring mattress was EXTREMELY FIRM to the point of being unbearably painful; it had no surface padding whatsoever so it was like laying on a metal rack. I ended up sleeping on top of my bed pillows the 2nd night. I was very uncomfortable and would not be able to stay there again, not in that room anyway. Otherwise, I would rate the B&B five stars overall. Breakfast was traditional - sweet - yogurt, toast, croissants and assorted pastries. The mattress gets a zero for comfort.

Posted Jan. 23, 2017 on ExpediaThis is a great location in Vasto close to incredible beaches and wine tasting as well as many medieval towns and castles.
The rooms are good sized with additional spaces to sit and read or have breakfast.
The owners would notice if I had missed breakfast and left it in my room...very excellent service that you would never get in a big hotel.
They also spent time helping me with my lost luggage and would go out of their way to help with any questions.
I would recommend this place to anyone.
