The Hotel Rialto is in the perfect spot for walking and catching water transport to everything. The roof top terrace overlooking the Rialto Bridge and Grand Canal is the highlight of the hotel. It ia a peaceful spot away from tourists and we spent time there everyday. We got a room without a view and it was a little stuffy but clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful and the chocolate crescents at breakfast are the best.

Great location, just off the Rialto Bridge. Restaurant next door was reasonably priced compared to other locations in Venice. The only issue was that the elevator did not deliver us to our floor; we had to climb a few stairs to get there.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Venice

Centrally located and finely appointed. This was a beautiful hotel close to everything. Less than 10 minutes to St Mark's Square. Vaperetto lines right outside the door.

The hotel is a charming, old-style Venetian residence made up of three interconnected houses, featuring a beautiful balcony on the right side. It’s located right next to the Rialto Bridge and the Grand Canal—an ideal spot for exploring Venice. Our room was quite small, especially the bathroom, and there was a faint musty smell. However, the hotel staff were extremely helpful, and the breakfast was outstanding. Conveniently close to public transportation, including bus stops, gondolas, and water taxis.

The water in the shower reaches a scalding temperature every 10 seconds. It is impossible to just simply take a shower, you have to be on alert for the moment of scalding water and turn it away from you or get scalded, even if you are using the cold setting.

We loved how convenient this was to everything! Yet Our room was quiet and heard no hustle and bustle of the street below. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was great and the ladies working in the breakfast room were lovely.

PRO’s The Staff was nice and very helpful with directions. They made us fell welcome. The Breakfast was fantastic. Even though the hotel was dated it was clean with a very large room especially for Europe. Great location, which made us feel like we were in the heart of the city. Great place for the Water taxi drop off. Con’s Out of date hotel, with a lot of steps that don’t go pass a certain floor. When we arrived in Venice from the airport the drop off area was closed b/c of a boat race, so walking to the hotel was very tiring b/c of all the bridges,steps and sun (hot weather).
