Dear Guest, Thank you for posting a review of your stay at our beachfront condo in Venice, Florida. Your opinion and comments are greatly appreciated, as this helps us to know what you liked about the condo and where improvements may be needed.We were very happy to know that you felt that the condo was very clean and that it had a roomy shower which was helpful for the physically challenged. We were glad that you liked our uncrowded private beach and that you enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrellas that we provided. We were also happy that you liked having Publix supermarket and several places to eat in close proximity to the condo. We were definitely glad to know that you felt that the condo is a great place for small young families. In addition, we are very thankful for you letting us know about some minor maintenance items that need to be attended to. We would therefore like to let you know that we will be getting our maintenance man to take care of the squeaky front door and low water pressure in the shower. We will also have the refrigerator temperature checked for coldness. Lastly, in regards to the beds, they were replaced roughly 5 years ago. One bed has a firm mattress and the other bed has a pillow top mattress. It is possible that you slept on the pillow top which does not prevent you from rolling to the middle of the bed. We are very sorry, however, that you felt that the beds were not that great. Dear Cheryl, Thank you for posting a review of your stay at my beachfront vacation rental condo in Venice, Florida. Your feedback and opinion is greatly appreciated, as this helps me to know what you liked about the condo and where improvements may be needed. I was very sorry to learn that you did not get a good nights sleep any night of your stay at the condo. I truly appreciate you letting me know that the beds and pillows need updating. However, the mattresses on both beds were replaced in 2019 with Simmons Beautyrest firm mattresses. Therefore, the mattresses are only three years old and should still be in excellent condition. Since the choice of mattresses is a subjective thing, it may be that you are not used to sleeping on a firm mattress, but rather prefer a pillow top mattress instead. As a result, the choice of mattresses is a personal preference. I will, however, be sure to replace the pillows promptly. We graciously appreciate your comments and opinion, as this helps us to know what you liked about the condo and where we may need to improve. We were very happy to learn that you liked the close proximity of the beach access, but were sorry that you felt that the Olympic pool and laundry room was pretty far away. In reality, however, our beachfront, as well as the swimming pool and laundry room are an exact equal distance from the front door of the condo you stayed in. If you walk 100 yards to the west, you arrive at our golden, sandy beachfront. If you walk 100 yards to the east, you arrive at our Olympic swimming pool and laundry room. Therefore, since the condo is located in the center of the condo complex, these amenities are not any farther than one another. We were happy to learn that you felt that our beachfront condo was well equipped with three flat screen TVs and comfortable furnishings. We were also glad to hear that the King Bed was quite comfortable and that the neighborhood was quiet. We were additionally excited to know that you enjoyed our huge Olympic swimming pool. We were sad to find out, however, that the beach was hit by the Red Tide during your stay and that the sand was littered with dead fish and a resulting offensive smell. Unfortunately, natural disasters, like the Red Tide, do occur from time to time which are out of our control, as well as being out of control of Sarasota County. This is just Mother Nature acting out, but this occurrence does not happen very often. We are sorry that the Red Tide hit Venice during your stay. However, we look forward to you staying with us again for your next tropical and tranquil beachfront getaway in sunny Venice, Florida.

Dear Guest, Thank you for positing a review of your stay in our two-bedroom beachfront condo in Venice, Florida. We truly appreciate you feedback and opinion, as it helps us to know what you liked about the condo and where we may need to improve. We were very sorry to learn that you felt that the condo that you stayed in (Villa #24) needed major renovations. We wish that you would have elaborated on what needed renovating. We recently installed new ceramic tile in the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. We also replaced the bed mattresses within the last year. We know that our condos are older properties that were built back in 1950, but they have the feel of a beachfront cottage and not an atmosphere like a property such as the Hilton or Marriott hotel. What we offer our guests are modest accommodations that provide a beachfront location, as well as a huge Olympic swimming pool. This is the true novelty of our properties. Our guests do not have to take any long walks or car rides to access our private and tranquil beachfront. Our guests simply take a short 100 yard walk to the west to access our golden, sandy beach. We are very sorry that you were not happy with your accommodations. Please reply back with more detail of what you felt needed to be renovated. We thank you again for your review of Villa #24.
