Peaceful, pet-friendly, cottage located in a quaint neighborhood on the barrier island just a few blocks from the beach. Tropical, private, backyard with screened patio. Great open floor plan, tile in main living areas. TV with high speed internet provided; Fully-equipped kitchen. Full-size washer/dryer. One-car garage. Second bathroom with shower is in the garage for easy wash-up after a day at the beach. Beach chairs, umbrella and cooler are available.

Beach Get-a-Way.

Enjoyed staying at this property. The owner was very nice and easy to reach. We enjoyed walking the beach, just a short distance away and watching the sunrise. After time at the beach, we shopped thrift and antique stores, which are abundant in the area. We found other activities to do over on the main drag (Highway 60) about 10 or so miles away. Took the time to catch a late afternoon movie at the theatre with dining nearby such as Olive Garden and Outback Steak. I would also suggest visiting the Botanical Gardens and giving The Lemon Tree restaurant a try. (mom & pop place) But get there early for breakfast. And don’t forget to check out the popular Riverside Cafe, waterfront dining with a live band. Overall, Vero Beach is a great place to visit.

Adorable beach bungalow

This was a very cute and cozy property that was exactly as described in the listing. It is in a quiet neighborhood and is a quick drive to groceries, a pharmacy, and the beach. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again, if I come back to the area. The property owner communicated all pertinent info before check in time. The property was clean and had all of the essentials.

Absolutely loved this house. I stayed for one week. I loved the back screened room. My cat hung out there all day and didn’t want to come in! The property is woodsy with bushes and shrubs and trees creating a more private atmosphere which is what I prefer. The location is perfect. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. It’s a short walk to the beach. There are two bicycles in the garage and we took a ride on the jungle trail, which is also very close. There are other parks in the area as well. I do not like to go out to eat that often so I did a lot of cooking and baking. The oven and the microwave work fine. Martin is a great host. He was good at responding back to me with all of my questions. I would stay here again.

Everything was great, nothing I could complain about. Cute place in a great location at a reasonable price. Comfortable and well-furnished. Martin was great about communicating with us and making sure everything was going OK. Would definitely book again if we're ever in the area.

LOVED IT!

Wonderful place to stay. Fantastic location, neighborhood is quiet. Martin was very communicative and easy to get a hold of. We took advantage of the bicycles in the garage, and took a ride down the Jungle Trail. We had no issues and would absolutely stay here again. Too bad it's already booked for the time we'll be in town again next year!

Cozy Beach Cottage

We booked this property to attend a wedding at Vero Beach. The property had all the ‘little’ things that you need when away from home for the weekend. We felt completely at home. Martin was great.

Tucked away on a quiet street. Well supplied with beach chairs, umbrella, beach cruisers, and well appointed kitchen. Beds were comfortable as well. Really a home away from home! A couple of minutes to a quiet and beautiful beach. Good fishing right off the causeway - a real treat - Florida as Florida should be experienced.

Winter Escape Week

I stayed at this property the last week of January. It was good for what I needed for two adults for that length of time. It is a cottage - small but an open floor plan. The house is nicely appointed. I did not make dinners there but the kitchen appeared well stocked to do so. The location is good for walking. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach - doable carrying a light chair and a few items. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and also offers a nice setting for walking. The popular Jungle Trail is also in close proximity where you can both walk and bike. I did not need much while there, but the host was quick to reply to any questions I had. A real bonus are the neighbors directly across the street - a friendly couple who assisted me with a few odd needs. I did not travel with a dog this stay. But I would not choose to stay here with mine. The backyard area is small, not grassy, and not completely enclosed. But the surrounding area is ideal for exercising your pet. Also missing from this property is a covered outside sitting area. If it rains, inside is your only choice. All in all, this property met my needs for a week’s stay. And I was satisfied with my time there.
