1913 hotel kept fairly close to its 1922 renovation (in my opinion).
As a princess or prince, you will like the property.
Very large rooms with large bathrooms and sea view on 4th floor.

Nice, clean property. Rooms are spacious but a bit dated. Very good breakfast. Well located on the promenade.

We are happy that you appreciated the hotel, its services, the terrace with frontal sea view and sunset over the Tyrrhenian Sea. The location of the hotel allows you to directly access the beach by crossing Viareggio's famous seaside promenade. The Hotel has undergone a renovation of all the rooms where the bathroom has been completely renovated as well as new Dorelan mattresses, pillows and TV; while the furniture and where possible, the and common areas, maintaining the Art Nouveau style that has distinguished it since its opening in 1922. The colors chosen for the walls were designed to convey a feeling of relaxation. The intervention was completed at the beginning of April 2023, only the corridors of the rooms scheduled for November are missing.Hoping to have you as our guest again soon, I send you my warmest regards.

We loved the hotel, the only thing we would change is a softer mattress. We will stay there again.

The hotel is not worth the rating and the money. It’s old and requires a lot of renovations. Our biggest complaint was the air conditioning, it hardly worked during our stay and we asked the front desk staff to look into it every day. Someone would come in and fix it and then the cleaning staff would turn it off, causing it to break again. The showers leak. They also lost our dry cleaning and after regular follow up, asking them to call the laundry facility, we finally got it back 30 mins before our checkout

Everything about this newly-renovated hotel was perfect-from the unexpected upgrade to a terrace deluxe room at check in, to the “over the top” food and service at the rooftop restaurant.
This century-old art nouveau architectural beauty sits right on the Viareggio promenade, which also has been significantly upscaled since the Pandemic. The evening scene from the roof terrace and the street level is simply magical.
A special thanks goes out to Francesca at the concierge desk and Gabriela, the breakfast hostess. They were so kind to accommodate our little dog (who could not be in the breakfast dining room) by giving us access to the expansive breakfast buffet (including bubbles!) from the beautiful court yard garden each morning during our stay.
We cannot wait to return to this special place; it is our new “go to” destination in Versilia.
