Wonderful stay
Stayed for month of March. Beautiful spot and home. View of the gorge lovely and peaceful. Abundance of ducks and saw seals playing. Nice little park a short walk away and Galloping Goose easily accessible. John replied to texts right away. Lynn &Rob

Great Stay!
My partner and I enjoyed a comfortable 5 week stay. Accommodation was spacious and facing the water. Lots of different bird species and loved the otters. Our host John was easy to contact and quickly addressed the few issues we encountered. Nice outdoor space for a pet as well.

As advertised and nice but
Interior is fine but bbq, kayaks, windows all need to be cleaned. Bbq should be replaced … may be dangerous. Freezer should be cleaned. It is a good location and we would be willing to stay there again.

Fantastic place
This was a wonderful place to stay at. The location was wonderful and close to so many things. The host even provided a some great walking paths for dogs and one was just down the street. It was very quite and clean. It was the perfect spot for my husband, myself and dog to getaway.

Place looks exactly how it does In the photos. Beautiful place to cook and relax by the water. Loved going kayaking. There was no clean up directions/house manual. Contacted owner and just said enjoy! That was a surprise to us and amazing to pay a cleaning fee and not have to clean. We did tidy up bc that’s what you do. Would recommend to anyone! Thanks again!

Awesome accommodations!
The property was very nice, clean and comfortable. The fact that it was on the water was so enjoyable. The location was excellent for sightseeing. We really enjoyed our stay in Victoria and the home made it so much more enjoyable.

A great second visit
We stayed 11days . Situated in a lovely spot overlooking the inlet. Very placid place to return to after a busy day exploring Victoria and area. Very central location. Lovely furniture throughout, comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. Very pleased.

Very Nice Flat with Wonderful Water View
The well-appointed, upper level apartment has a wonderful view of Portage Inlet. We would have loved to use the included paddle craft if the weather was warmer! Great access to downtown Victoria and Vancouver Island explorations. Victoria tips: We always enjoy Hermann's Jazz Club for jazz, blues, or special jam sessions. Fishhook restaurant near the club has superb fish and seafood dishes with an Indian flair.

Beautiful
Excellent rental. Water access and wonderful views. There are people living on the first floor (rental is on the second floor). This was not described in the listing (or I didn't find it) but I suspected this was the case given a house with one bedroom seemed unlikely. However, I never saw them and they were extremely quiet so it was not an issue in any way.
