Two staff members greeted us upon arrival and were very friendly. The hotel is modern and clean. Our room was a nice size with a convenient bench near the door and a compartment for stowing luggage. The mini fridge was a pleasant surprise. The bed was comfortable. The one drawback was no air conditioning (only heat) but that was easily solved by sleeping with the door open. I guess that says something about the safety as well since we felt OK doing so.

We stayed in the Jnr Suite which was a brilliant large and well appointed room. Location of the hotel is great. This is a very nice hotel and one I would highly recommend.

This property is clean and very comfortable during our 2 night stay while visiting southern Iceland. The included breakfast onsite allowed us to start the day bright and early. The view of the mountains from our room was beautiful and peaceful. Only negative is the hair shampoo/condition - the wash left a film in my hair so bring your own if you’re particular.

Hotel room was compact but perfectly sized for two adults and luggage. Room was clean and comfortable. It had all the necessities required. We had a mountain view which was beautiful and worth it.

We had an excellent experience at Hotel Kria. They were very good about communicating prior to the trip with personal messages, and the property is great. Nice restaurant and rooms. Great location within Vik and everything was walkable. We will return when we are back in Iceland.

It looks like a brand new building. Room is not huge but ok. Everything is new and upgraded, loved it. We didn’t get to eat breakfast so can’t comment on that.

one night in Vik

Hotel Kria is a very moden property which i liked alot. A few comments. For the area it was a good choice. Design is simplistic and modern. Room was nice but not so large, Bathroom shower needed better water pressure. You could not bring the car to the front of the hotel and there was no one to help with the luggage. For the price of the room, this was a bit surprising. Dinner was very good, drinks were very expensive. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Overall it was a good stay but i would say that the nightly cost belongs to a higher level hotel.

Wonderful hotel in Vik

We loved staying here when we visiting Vik. It’s clean, modern and the views are beautiful. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the dinner was outstanding (Icelandic Char!)
