Beautiful property, everything is new and modern. We enjoyed our stay here. Keep in mind, it is a hostel style property and was a little more noisy, even in our private room, as other guests were moving about the hallways and closing doors all night to use the bathroom and such. It was not bad at all, just something that should probably be expected at this type of property. With that being said, we would certainly stay here again.

The Barn was a great place to stay along our trip, my friend and I shared a double bed in a shared room, only complaint was how hot it got on the top bunk for both of us, otherwise it was not a bad place to stay! They also have a bar that is open until 11pm and serves a small selection of snacks, like chicken tenders and jalapeño poppers that were perfect when we were out all day and restaurants were closed by the time we got back to town around 10pm

This is a dorm, which is OK, but the organisation is not great. The space in the rooms to have your bag(s), shoes, etc is very, very limited, and not not associated with each bed, so if you arrive late all the spots are taken. The kitchen is too small for the number of guests. Sound echos in the common space and it gets very noisy if there are a few groups all talking at once.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The modern design stood out right away—clean lines, stylish decor, and a thoughtfully designed space that felt both welcoming and functional. Great hostel!

The Barn had a wonderful atmosphere! Beautiful lobby and common areas. The kitchen was fully stocked and quite large with a beautiful view through the large window. We would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet location and a view of a glacier and the ocean. Close to Black Sand Beach and Vik amenities. Clean and stylish common areas. Good kitchen although there were no freezers available for guests. We had a private room. It was clean, but worn out in places. The bed was uncomfortable and sloped to the center as if people only slept in the middle of the bed. The door was very difficult to lock and unlock. The woman working the front desk was not helpful and was curt when asked basic property related questions. It was expensive for what it was.

Paid a hefty price for a place that has no available receptionist in the morning for checkout and no breakfast. The bar is loud and disturbing to guest rooms. Common bathrooms and kitchen do not make up for the price by any stretch.
