Absolutely wonderful âŁïž I chose this B&B because it had a view of Lake Siljan in Vikarbyn Sweden. This area is known for the Midsummer festival, which was very high on my list of things to do whilst in Sweden. It did not disappoint. The evening of the Maypole celebration was just a short walk from the B&B, and our hosts were very involved in the celebration, which made our experience extra special. Our room was very comfortable with a shared bath, which was not a problem at all. There were more than one to choose from. We were on the second floor which had its own kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave, plus a table for seating. There was a balcony/porch to sit on with a beautiful view of the lake. It was so peaceful and quiet. The main dining area was on the first floor. The variety of food to choose from was wonderful, which included delicious homemade breads and jams. It was the only place we stayed in Sweden which also included homemade lefse, a Scandinavian specialty. Lefse is a flat bread , similar to tortillas, which most Americans are familiar with, but made with riced potatoes. My family always served lefse for Thanksgiving and Christmas, so this was extra special for me. Parking was onsite. There was a grocery store very close by, so you could buy food to make for lunch and/or dinner. There were a few shops nearby within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay here immensely. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

Trevligt boende nÀra Dalhalla

Riktigt trevligt boende. Vi bodde i ett delat hus med tvÄ lÀgenheter, dÀr vÄr lÀgenhet lÄg pÄ bottenplan. Lite lyhört mellan lÀgenheterna men det var att förvÀnta sig i trÀhus. SÀngarna var bekvÀma, lÀtt att sortera och kasta sopor, och köket var fullt utrustat. VÀrdparet var jÀttetrevliga och frukosten tipptopp! LÀget var nÀra Siljan och Dalhalla, och enkelt att hitta till.

Séjour confort en Dalécarlie.

+ : Merveilleux environnement. Plage à proximité avec les enfants. Un bon coin de départ d'excursions autour du lac Siljan. La proximité d'un supermarché accessible à pieds. Airco utile qd on arrive avec la chaleur. Pelouse intéressante pour les jeux des enfants. TrÚs petits points - : coin de repas extérieur serait plus agréable avec aussi la présence de chaises + confortables qu'un banc. Manque de crochets dans la salle de bain.

JÀttefint möblerat tvÄvÄningshus men trappan var för brant och farlig för bÄde hundar och barn och grinden till trappen gick inte att lÄsa ordentligt, men det löste sig genom att man gick runt pÄ utsidan el genom ett förrÄd. Svala rum, skönt i sommarvÀrmen. Fin inhÀngnad grÀsmatta för hundarna. Fantastisk utsikt över Siljan frÄn en stor fin balkong. God frukostbuffé i mysig dalamiljö.

Perfekt för besök pÄ Dalhalla!

Perfekt boende om man ska besöka konserter pĂ„ Dalhalla. Tar bara ca en kvart med bil. Ägaren kan ocksĂ„ ordna med körningar dit och tillbaka. Trevligt vĂ€rdpar med personlig service. StrĂ„lande utsikt över Siljan, speciellt frĂ„n den stora allmĂ€nna balkongen. Har inga toaletter och duschar pĂ„ rummen, men det finns gott om de allmĂ€nna, sĂ„ det blir aldrig nĂ„gra köer. TillgĂ„ng till kök och kyl/frys. Trevliga rum, men man fĂ„r bĂ€dda sjĂ€lv. VĂ€ldigt bra frukost! TĂ€nk pĂ„ att de fĂ„ restaurangerna pĂ„ orten stĂ€nger tidigt, vilket Ă€r lite trĂ„kigt. Backlunds rekommenderas starkt för boende i omrĂ„det! HĂ€r kommer vi att bo igen!
