Belle villa

Les propriétaires ont pensé à tout ou presque ! Belle villa avec vue trÚs bien équipée avec les petits plus ( petits snacks et boissons à l arrivée) mais aussi linge de maison soigné, bougies etc... la villa est située à quelques minutes du centre du village et de la plage Bref nous recommandons vivement et remerçions zoe and Karl ! Thank you for everything !

If you want to stay in Salema, this is the place! The hosts, Karl and Zoe, were very helpful during the check-in process, even leading me to the home from town because my GPS failed me. The home is GORGEOUS and the view is spectacular. Salema is the perfect home base for Algarve adventures and in the evening you can take a quick stroll into town for dinner/drinks. We didn't cook but the kitchen is well-appointed. Living spaces and bedrooms were very comfortable. We had an amazing time!

Fabulous villa

Beautifully comfortable and contemporary decorated villa in quiet location with stunning sea views. 8 min walk to beach. Friendly and helpful owner. Lovely grounds, well appointed kitchen and outdoor seating area. Great sheltered terrace for outdoor dining at night, and shade during the day. We know the area well and would highly recommend this villa.

Family holiday

Beautiful home in the western Algarve. Karl and Zoe were great hosts and very helpful and accessible. The home was a perfect location and venue for a family holiday, close to the sea, beach and facilities of Salema but also quiet with a lovely view and pool/BBQ facilities.

Casa Oliveira - Perfection

Beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. The best house we’ve stayed in yet. Our family of four, with a 4 yo and 7 yo, plus grandparents, had an amazing experience at this house we stayed in for nearly a week. The beds were comfortable, the view was stunning, and there was plenty of space for the kids to play. Its sizable kitchen was idyllic for cooking and entertaining, which we did, and the location was perfect for popping down to town for a bite or a stroll on the beach. The owners were available and super helpful!! While Salema is hard to mess up with its delicious restaurants and serene beach, this house was the cherry on top—it made our holiday forever memorable.

Lovely view

Our family of 6 stayed in this home and used it as a home base for trips into Lagos and to Praia do Amado Beach for surf lessons. Both were about 20-30 minutes away. The town of Salema is walkable from the home. There is beach and you can watch local fisherman and trails on the hills above are worth exploring. We enjoyed eating at the Spice Cottage (Indian Cuisine) in town. The home was well equipped and clean and communication was excellent with the host.

Sublime Serene Salema

It is impossible to put into words how wonderful our stay was at the Casa Oliveira. The house is very private sitting on the edge of a nature reserve. One week flew by as we enjoyed sitting on the sun deck and listening to the wind and bird chimes mixing with the sound of falling water from the private infinity pool, or chilling in the rooms (all with views of the ocean) sipping on a coffee or tea with a book. Yes, we were faced with those hard choices every morning. The house was beautifully designed, well constructed, and elegantly decorated. It is truly comfortable and well stocked. We did a fair amount of cooking, even though there are several great restaurants nearby. Our hosts Zoe and Karl are amazing, from the initial booking, they kept us well informed. They greeted us upon arrival, gave us great directions, but then left us alone in this oasis with our privacy. Yet when we needed them, which in our case, we needed to visit a doctor, they quickly referred a place where we got seen within the hour. Without going through all the details, we just wanted to say "Thank you, Obrigada/o" to Zoe and Karl as they are not only the best hosts, but just the kindest folks anywhere. Not surprisingly, Casa Oliveira is just simply a reflection of her owners and the town Salema. We are very fortunate to have found this hidden treasure. We will be back!

Amazing experience!

We lost all of our luggage for 4 days and Zoe was so gracious and supportive. She left us clothing and was so generous. Beyond that, the house was even nicer than the pictures. Great and very stocked kitchen!

Quite simply the nicest villa we have ever stayed in

We couldn't recommend this villa enough. It is by far one of the best properties in Salema if not the Algarve. The layout is amazing and so brilliantly decorated. 5 minutes walk down the hill to the beach and wonderful restaurants and bars. We will definitely return.

Five star luxury in Salema

The house is absolutely stunning. Zoe and Karl were superb hosts. We loved the little fishing village of Salema as well (a ten minute walk from the house) Enough bars and restaurants for a weeks stay but worth planning to eat at the house as well as the views are lovely. Beach is amazing. Clean fine white sand and not crowded We will be back

Everything perfect!

Excellent house, close to Salema beach (you can walk to the beach). It is very well equipped, with everything we need for an excellent holiday. The pool is not big but it is enough to cool off. Karl and Zoe are excellent hosts. We highly recommend it.
