This luxury 2 bedroom apartment is situated in the delightful fishing village of Burgau on the exclusive, 4 star Domus Ibérica resort. Ideally located on the edge of the protected Costa Vicentina National Park, just 1 hour from Faro, it provides an excellent base for exploring this wonderful region. Whether you are walking, golfing, surfing or just chilling with the kids this area has something for all. A beautiful blue flag beach is a short walk down through the pretty cobbled streets of the village, where you can enjoy the local produce and catches at one of the many traditional restaurants. The historic town of Lagos with its walled city, modern marina and funky bars is only 10 mins drive, and the village of Luz is only 5 mins drive. There are numerous golf courses in the area and for the more adventurous world class surf beaches.

Magnificent apartment in a typical quaint village !

The apartment was even more beautiful and comfortable than we expected ! It is very well equipped with all that is needed and was extremely clean. An excellent and prompt communication with JoĂŁo who manages the apartment and provides attentive service, he even came by in person to check that everything was in order. We enjoyed Burgau, a small village with a lovely beach and calmer than other resorts, all the amenities are within walking distance. It was a memorable stay ! We highly recommend Stephen's apartment.

Excellent quiet location in bustling little village

Enjoyed are 6 nights in the apartment. Everything we needed was there and the check in process was easy. The sign to the complex needs rewriting as is a bit faded but otherwise it was easy to find and access the apartment. Nice to be able to borrow beach umbrellas and use the kitchen for light snacks. A bit confused by the picture of the pool on the brochure in the flat as Joao the manager said we could not access this facility. But the beach is 10 mins stroll away with some nice restaurants, supermarkets and bus stop near by. Lovely relaxing place to stay.

GroßzĂŒgige Ferienwohnung

Schöne, saubere und sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit allem, was man braucht. Perfekte Lage außerhalb des „Trubels“ von Burgau in einer gepflegten Anlage. ParkplĂ€tze vor der TĂŒr an der Straße. Schnell zu Fuß im Ort und am Ortsstrand. Netter Kontakt zum Vermieter, auch der Verwalter vor Ort ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Enjoyed our time

It was a beautiful holiday in that area and together with all circumstances in and around the appartment. It was calm and clean inside and outside as well. The appartment had everything inside, what is needed to realx, enjoy and having a good time. Kitchen was clean and nothing was missed out. As well the wifi was very good to communicate. The experience with our host and the appartment manager was easy, friendly, helpful and immediate response all the time. Thank you! Short ways to everything you need around: Beach, Shop, Hiking, Restaurants, Parking. Burgau is well placed for many different day trips around the area like Sagres, Lagos and even further to all attractions, beaches and many different panoramic sites around. Thanks for the nice expreience.

Lovely apartment

We really enjoyed our stay with our two children age 8 and 11. The apartment had everything you could possibly need and the beds were really comfortable. I slept so well. The kids loved the TV area and the balcony was great. The location is ideal an easy 5 minute walk from shops, restaurants and the beach. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

Perfekte Wohnung in Burgau

Die Wohnung ist schön gross und liegt absolut ruhig. Man kann nachts bei offenem Fenster schlafen, nur Zikaden und Vögel sind zu hören. Es fehlt an nichts, die KĂŒche ist auch gut ausgestattet, alles wirkt neu- und hochwertig. Zum schönen Strand ist es nur ein kurzer Spaziergang, mit dem Auto kommt man schnell in umliegende Orte. Wir sind schon viel gereist, so eine tolle Wohnung hatten wir noch nie. Nach einer Woche wurde sogar alles grĂŒndlich zwischengereinigt. Einfach perfekt, ganz herzlichen Dank!

Lovely spacious apartment.

Everything was lovely about this apartment. We loved the sun kissed balcony which has a view of people climbing the mountain. The shower in the en-suite was great, which is always a bonus. All the rooms are spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. The slightest criticism is the bed frame which despite having a comfortable mattress is a bit noisy resulting in a restless nights sleep. The owner is very easy to communicate with and everything went without any issue. Burgau is perfect for us but be aware it has very steep streets. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Family holiday in Burgau

We had a great week in Burgau with our children (7 & 11), the apartment was clean and very well equipped. The location on the edge of the village is perfect, and easy walk down to the beach and all the restaurants. Recommend going on the Algarve Dolphin Lovers dolphin trip from Burgau beach, it was amazing experience with so many dolphins swimming alongside the boat. The donut seller on the beach is also a top tip, I think we tried most flavours and they were all winners! For supermarkets we found that the Intermarche on the edge of Budens, a short drive away, had everything we needed. We’ve been coming to Burgau for many years and it’s always lovely.

Wonderful flat in perfect location

We enjoyed our stay very much, the flat is very nice and well-equipped. It is situated in a very calm area, although the beach is very close (10 min walking maximum) - so just perfect. The pool is the nearby beach club isn®t well maintained, so we wouldn®t recommend going there (especially because they ask you to consume 25€ each to get in). We had a small challenge with the appartment (the fridge wasn®t cooling, although the freezer was) but Joao (who is maintaining the appartment) helped us out very fast by providing a small fridge. The owner of the apartment is very helpful, even though not located there, he is reacting extremely fast and always provided help. We can absolutely recommend spending your holidays there, we had a great time and we would book again.

Wir waren bereits einige Male in Burgau und wurden auch in diesem Jahr nicht enttĂ€uscht. Unsere Unterkunft hielt alles, was sie versprochen hat: Sauber, gerĂ€umig und gemĂŒtlich. Die Betreuung durch den Agenten war sehr gut. Wir durften sogar frĂŒher in die Unterkunft als eigentlich vorgesehen. Wir kommen wieder und können die Unterkunft und Burgau nur weiterempfehlen. Außerdem: Toller Strand und klares Wasser.

Great place to stay in Burgau!

The apartment is great - big, clean, good location and well decorated. It also has a lot of amenities like cooking utensils, air cond., tv, etc. It is walking distance from the beach and several restaurants, and it is easy to park the car outside. The terrace outside is also amazing. The only negative thing was the double bed mattress which needs to be changed - it is not very comfortable.

ruhig gelegen, viel Platz, nicht alles in Schuss

Zwar kein Meerblick, aber super ruhig gelegen und angenehme Architektur der Anlage. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht und ist großzĂŒgig geschnitten - allerdings ist sie nicht ganz in Schuss. So riecht es in einem Bad und an der Waschmaschine modrig und bis auf das grĂ¶ĂŸere Bad schließt keine einzige der TĂŒren in der Wohnung. Gerade bei der Toilette ist das eher ungĂŒnstig... Der nahe gelegene Pool des "Nova Beach Club" ist ebenfalls an sich schön und wir haben es genossen dort zu sein, aber auch er ist schon etwas heruntergekommen (Poolplane z.T. eingerissen, Duschen funktionieren nicht, Wasserfall abgestellt, BewĂ€sserungssystem der Palmen schaut nach Baustelle aus). Die 9€ Eintritt (!) fĂŒr Nicht-Clubmitglieder ist völlig ĂŒbertrieben, aber zwischen 16:00 und 19:00 ist der Pool kostenlos und auf jeden Fall eine wohltuende Erfrischung.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Wir haben 2 Wochen in Burgau verbracht und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Apartment ist sehr groß und gerĂ€umig, die Betten sind bequem, die Klimaanlage funktioniert tiptop. Es ist sehr sauber und gepflegt und nach einer Woche wurden HandtĂŒcher und BettwĂ€sche gewechselt. Kleinere MĂ€ngel wurden durch Joao und seiner Frau sofort zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit behoben, die Kommunikation war perfekt. Burgau hat uns sehr gut gefallen und mit dem Mietwagen haben wir die tollen StrĂ€nde und ein paar StĂ€dte erkundet. Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub, Wiederkehr nicht ausgeschlossen!

Dias maravilhosos, sem necessidade de usar carro, com praia idílica, piscina gråtis a partir das 17h ou com almoço nas instalaçÔes, pessoal muito simpåtico na piscina. Sortido de restaurantes mas com horårio de fecho pelas 21h30/22h. Foram uns dias excelentes na Santorini portuguesa!
