Highly recommend this hotel. Very difficult to find anything negative to say about my experience. Staff were friendly & helpful. It was quiet at night and right on the beach. The choice of food at breakfast was endless. Dinner & bar food menu was very good too. Would love to stay there again.

The Room was nice but a little dated. This was First hotel we ever stayed in , ever, that you had to pay for the coffee pods in your room after the first day :/ ( and the charge was excessively high for a single pod, which you had to order from room service) . Also our first hotel ( after 16 different ones in Europe this month) that you had to pay to use the sauna/steam/indoor pool. Staff were polite and friendly but not overly warm or welcoming. Main areas and outdoor pool, bar and lounges were beautiful. Breakfast buffet was extravagant and lovely. Beach access was great .

Unbelievable place. The hotel staff made this holiday even more special; so polite helpful and always welcoming! They have helped me with all my queries and happy to be of assistance. The hotel is quiet and amazingly decorated. They provide and carer for kids which was the highlight of the holiday. Kids pool and play area along with kids club. I found a great deal on expedia which i couldnt say no to!!

Retruned here after 10 years and just as comfortable as back then! The 11th floor suite was excellent. Spacious, clean, and with a great view of the sea. Breakfast buffet was enourmous! Staff very helpfull and polite. Pool snack bar and room service food ratther expensive, but well worth it.

This hotel has so much to offer, the rooms are cleaned everyday. The food is lovely so much choice at breakfast. The staff are amazing cannot do enough for you! Location is perfect a 10 minute walk to the marina.

This is our 3rd visit to this hotel and possibly our last. I appreciate this is a busy time of year but I was disappointed to see so many sunbeds “reserved” at the pool. It appears the hotel have no interest in enforcing the “no reservation” policy. This is a 5 star hotel and it is a shame to see anti social behaviour allowed in a nice hotel - this is not a 3 star hotel in Albufeira. I reported this to the hotel but no action was taken. Having spent thousands of Euros to stay here in the last 5 years, we will now look elsewhere to stay. I do not want to arrive at the pool and stress out finding there were no free sunbeds. Otherwise, the breakfast was lovely as usual and the staff (especially Goncales) were welcoming. However, the room maids ignored us on two occasions when we passed them in the corridor - a simple smile would have been nice. Upon checking out, the receptionist did not ask if we enjoyed our stay - she just processed the bill. A little more of a personal touch would be nice.

Pros - Hotel is in a great location, across path from beach, and a 10/15 min walk to the marina and the better restaurants and bars that can be found at the back of the marina. It’s a 30 min, 24 euro journey from airport for 4 passengers and 4 cases (45 euro for airport taxi). Sea view and Vilamoura room views are fantastic. The rooms were better than I anticipated, although not ultra modern they were decent with very comfortable beds, a great shower and plenty of storage. Housekeeping do an excellent job here. Pool area has lots of mature plants and has been designed well. Nice terrace for drinks thoughout day and evening. DJ one early evening and 2 male singers another, both were good. Two pool tables located inside at bar was good for keeping teenagers entertained. Friendly and helpful staff throughout. Cons - Guests start laying their towels to claim sunbeds from 7am. There are plenty sunbeds however those located around the pool are gone by about 830am. It’s beyond ridiculous with one guest reserving 11 sunbeds daily and not using until at least 11am. Staff occasionally go around with a clip board and note empty beds but I never once seen them removing a towel. There are too many parasols out of action and several beds that don’t adjust properly. New cushions would be good too. The bar and lobby needs attention from an interior designer. More money could be made at the bar if hotel invested in this. Although clean and spacious it’s very bland.
