Can PairĂł is a distinctive Catalan Masia situated on the rolling hills of ValldeviĂ (Vilopriu) overlooking the Bay of Roses and Costa Brava, an area of outstanding natural beauty and tranquility. This 18th century farmhouse has been lovingly restored to a high standard and is stylishly furnished throughout. It is located in the medieval hamlet of ValldeviĂ which consists of 10 or so traditional stone houses. It is also only a short 3 minute drive to the towns of Vilopriu and Camallera and close to some of the most pristine and secluded beaches of the Costa Brava, the closest being Sant MartĂ d'Empuries, which is a short 10 minute drive away.
The house is ideally located in the sought after Baix EmpordĂ region and is only a 20 minute drive to the picturesque city of Girona and Figueres and just over an hours drive to the Pyrenees and Barcelona. If you don't feel like driving you can also get the train from Camallera Train Station directly to Figueres, Girona or Barcelona.
This is a unique property which preserves many of its original features such as vaulted ceilings, a glass covered well and traditional stone masonry. It consists of 4 double bedrooms, one of which has two single beds. It has a large bathroom on the second floor, a WC room on the first floor and a shower/wet room on the ground floor. It has two living rooms, one with a piano and the other being an open plan sitting/dining room leading to both the kitchen and terrace. At the end of the terrace there is a 3 x 2 M pool in which you can relax and enjoy the views. The terrace also offers seating and a BBQ. There is also a large downstairs game room which includes a pool table, dart board and ping-pong table. All of the rooms at the front of the house and the terrace offer spectacular panoramic views of Bay of Roses and unspoilt surrounding countryside.
There are many activities on offer within a short distance from the house including: river kayaking (Kayaking Colomers), tennis, horse riding, wind tunnel (Windoor Empuriabrava), cycling, kite and wind surfing (ION Club), snorkeling, sailing, etc. The house is also only a 10 minute walk from the local pool which has its own bar, restaurant and tennis courts. All guests have access to the pool if they buy drinks at the bar (please check the photos at www . naturaldosis. com/en/ ) The surrounding countryside also has many walking trails and cycle tracks.
There are many local restaurants offering a variety of local traditional cuisine such as La Bassa (VentallĂł), El Teatret (VentallĂł), El Chalet (Colomers) and ARĂ (Sant Mori) which are all a 5 minute drive away. The nearby town of Camallera (3 min drive) has a supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, an excellent bakery and of course the train station as mentioned above.
Can PairĂł has only just been fully restored and is new to the rental market as of mid-April.
