Welcome to this charming apartment with a beautiful lake view, located on the upper floor of the owners villa on a scenic lakefront property just outside Vimmerby. Here, you stay in a peaceful and comfortable setting with easy access to the townâs shops, restaurants, and the popular theme park Astrid Lindgrenâs World.
The apartment has a private entrance at the back of the house and offers plenty of space for the whole family. It features four rooms and a kitchen â a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed, a dining room with access to a balcony overlooking the lake, and two bedrooms â one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Several rooms offer lovely views of the lake. The bathroom includes a shower and toilet.
Down by the water, you have access to a private patio with a grill, perfect for cozy evenings outdoors. A rowing boat is available if youâd like to go fishing. Just a few hundred meters from the house is a lovely swimming area with a sandy beach and piers â ideal for families with children.

In just 15 minutes, you can reach Vimmerby, where Astrid Lindgrenâs World and Astrid Lindgrenâs childhood home âNĂ€sâ offer unforgettable experiences. Not far from Vimmerby, you can visit the real-life Bullerbyn and Katthult, the filming locations of the beloved Emil movies. At Virum Moose Park, you can see and even pet moose up close.
The coastal town of VĂ€stervik, named Swedenâs best summer town in 2020 and 2021, is about 45 minutes away by car.
