We had an issue with the wifi, and when I went to the front desk about it, the desk clerk, long dark hair, said it is your last name and room number. I said yes, she asked what room, I told her 133, she pulled it up on her end and said B-e-v-e-r is you last name, I told her, YES, I was aware of that. She said if that did not work then there was nothing she could do for me. She was rude and not helpful. She said I can put in a work order, I asked when that would be done and she said the next day, I looked at her and said, how is that helpful? To which she again responded, there is nothing I can do for you, I am just the front desk clerk. We usually stay at Comfort Suites when we visit our grandaughters in Vincennes, but we really like most Hampton Inns, so we switched for this trip. We will NOT make that mistake again!!! The ladies when we checked out were very nice, and the gentleman doing breakfast was super sweet, talking to everyone and being cheerful, and breakfast items were always readily available. I was in town with my elderly mother for her 65th class reunion. I booked a handicap accessible room expecting a roll in shower per the description. However, it was a bathtub with a pull down seat instead. I would also suggest in handicap accessible room that you put a recliner in place of the regular chair as many elderly seniors choose to sleep in recliners because it is too hard to get into a bed.

Lack of service

No room service and I ran out of towels. Tissue ran out the first day but no service meant no more tissues. Bathtub backed up and would not drain properly.

They gave away our room

I paid for a room with two beds for my brother and me. When we arrived my room was given to someone on the volleyball group that had arrived. We had just traveled in five hours away and my brother had to sleep in a small pull away bed. No compensation … no “sorry” nothing. Our room wasn’t even set up with the extra bed we had to go down stairs and request it at 3am when we arrived.

Overall it was a nice stay. I travel for work, and spend a lot of nights in hotels in the midwest. This was a clean hotel. It took awhile to find me a room to check into with a reservation. its near a variety of places to eat. and close to shopping if needed.

We Inconvenience front desk

Everything was wonderful outside of the front desk lady. She wasn't there to help guest. We had to call the hotel to get her to come out of the side room and wait on us. When we arrived she told us there were no vacancies. I went out to the parking lot and was able to make reservations for 2 rooms for my family of 8. On line it showed multiple room available. She acted like we were interrupting her lunch break or something. Hotel was nice, clean and perfect.
