Perfect Location!

Nice space and nice location

Nice beach vacation spot!!
Posted Aug. 4, 2023 on HomeAwayThis condo is perfect for a beach vacation, right on the boardwalk and beach. Had everything we needed or front desk was very responsive when we asked for a couple of missing items like dishwasher pucks or towels. It could use repainting and a few repairs to outside door (rusted from sea salt) but overall very nice and clean. Even hide- a-bed mattress was very comfy memory foam.
We enjoyed the complimentary coffee and cold drinks from machines in lobby! Nice touch.

Posted Jul. 24, 2022 on HomeAwayThe nice things about it is your right on the boardwalk and the beach. Also it looks good from the outside and the front desk people are very friendly and nice. The check in and out process was easy, just wish I would have received a receipt when we checked out. Don't think the fans worked in the elevators and they always had a smell to them. We stayed on the 7th floor and the carpets in the hallway were stained. Then when we got into our room it smelled heavily of curry and we were never able to get rid of the smell while we were there. We never had trouble getting extra towels etc. But with 3 of us staying in the room for a week after we ran out of toilet paper and we went to the front desk to get more, they only gave you a roll at a time. The breakfast was ok it was your typical hotel stay kind of breakfast. If you would like to contact me in reference to any of this please feel free to email me and we can discuss this further. You were a timeshare guest, not a hotel guest. Per your rental agreement and the ad on VRBO, any issues with the unit, regarding the smell, etc. you should have gone to the front desk for them to fix. They could have put in an air machine or moved you to another unit. Also, as stated in the listing, toilet paper, etc. are not included in the stay. As I said this is a timeshare unit not a hotel unit so you are required to supply your own toiletries including toilet paper like every other timeshare. The resorts do not supply that stuff so you are lucky they gave it to you for free. Breakfast is not included in timeshare units because you pay much less than the hotel guests for your stay. If you bought the breakfast that is through the hotel but normally they don't allow timeshare guests to have breakfast since its not included in the stay because of the price difference, it is free for hotel guests not timeshare guests as the hotel units do not have a full size refrigerator like the timeshare units. This resort is a hotel and a timeshare combined, so there are different rules/regulations for hotel guests versus timeshare guests.

Posted Jul. 13, 2022 on HomeAwayWe went to Virginia Beach for the 4th of July. The hotel was pretty much as advertised. We had to wait about 2 and a half hours to get checked in. It usually isn’t a problem but after a 10 hour drive with 2 kids it gets miserable quickly. I understand there are staffing issues everywhere and know it is out of their control. The staff was all friendly and accommodating. The beach itself was amazing and the location of the property is great. The real issue was with the city of Virginia Beach itself.

Beautiful view of the beach
Posted Jun. 21, 2022 on HomeAwayThis unit had an balcony with an excellent view of the ocean...perfect for sipping wine in the evening. It was well stocked and bed was comfortable. We rode bicycles almost every day along the boardwalk and enjoyed lunch at a few of the open air restaurants along the way. We brought our own beach chairs and umbrella. Only complaint was the issue of everyone checking in at the same time...parking lot to unload the car was packed and just a few carts available to load your luggage and other stuff onto. Would definitely stay here again.
