Chose this based on its 8 out of 10 score, but was very disappointed. Everything is in general disrepair. Thankfully no smoke smell in room, but mildew instead. Walls have water stains or peeling paint, there weren't any towels, neighbor TV can be heard at 2am, only hand soap for the shower, some outlets don't work, iron board cover is shredded. Should be a 3 or 4 out of 10.

The property is amazingly kept. Michael is the best welcoming committee and front desk staff with their smiles and cordial invites. Breakfast attendee has an amazing god loving personality. We have gone to this hotel over 25 years and will keep going.

Staff was courteous, room was clean, nice towels. A couple of things out of the hotel control, 1) noise outside and 2) every time I left the room there was the smell of skunk weed, in the hallways elevator etc

This hotel was ok. I liked the large amount of parking and how the parking lot was close to my room. I also like the fact that they had elevators. The guy at the front desk was very nice and the check in process was very quick. There were no hidden fees or resort fees. But I paid extra for a partial ocean view. There was no ocean view. If you walk outside on the balcony and turn your head and squint you may get a glimpse of the sand. And I also I was right next to the pool deck so that made the partial view even less visible. I came in at 5pm and the parking lot was pitch black. Where are the lights? And the breakfast was a disappointment. The attendant was nice and helpful but I expected more than a waffle and oatmeal. The room was fine except for the air conditioner/heater leaking water. It wasn't enough to flood the room but my socks did get wet.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean, however, the property desperately needs updating, the breakfast was disappointing, and a loudargument between two people above us went on for hours with no intervention from the managers. I will not book here again.

Beach was barely visible. Beach was dirty. The hotel was filthy. Wouldn't let my dog lie on the carpet, afraid he would get something. Had police out side of balcony at 1:30 in the morning. Was a shooting. Across from the boardwalk. Not safe. Left Virginia after one night. Would not recommend Virginia Beach!!
