Wonderful retreat and place to relax after a day of sightseeing in San Diego. Seriously, the backyard, various seating options, tables, and activities was the perfect place for our family reunion to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. The house was ready to go when we got there. The owner did a wonderful job of answering my questions. The location was close to everything. And at night, it was very peaceful.

Great Location

Great location! Easy access to beach, Camp Pendleton, San Diego attractions, shopping, and food. Had a family BBQ and outdoor space was perfect for hosting. Lots of seating and relaxed atmosphere. House is huge! Tons of sleeping space. Host was easy to communicate with and gave clear directions. If we travel back I would definitely book this spot again.

All Needs Covered !

I was impressed with all areas of the property from inside to outside. Plenty of seating all around. Sleeping areas were comfortable. The kitchen area met all needs. We definitely appreciated the kids play area and toys. The infant children love the walker and their toys too. As I said before All Needs Covered.

Lots of room and great amenities!

A great venue for our family get-together. Spacious house with a variety of common areas. The outdoor amenities are also really great: fire pit, hot tub, and outdoor shower. Plenty of room to relax. Best of all, host Patty is friendly, communicates clearly and is very responsive.

Disappointed all around

We feel like the online pictures are very deceiving. They layout inside and out especially. I will say before getting into all the issues, our flights arrived early and we were allowed to check in a the house an hour early. The landlord or property manager does live on the property, in the garage right next to the front door. We felt as if our every move was being monitored. As soon as you walk into the front door you get smacked in the face with this awful smell, it’s hard to describe, but it was just that room. Upon first look the home seemed to be clean, after settling in is when it became apparent things weren’t as they seemed. The first night we wanted to cook some steaks on the grill. I must say our visit was to visit our son, whom is stationed at Camp Pendleton. Anyways, the grill was dirty and halfway through trying to cook the steaks the grill stopped cooking, due to how late it was we decided to move inside and finish the steaks, which I felt like ruined our first night dinner with our son. Upon cleaning up we ran into a horrific smell coming from the sinks food disposal, so we cleaned that and soon found out that the sink area was very dirty and mold had built up. We deep cleaned that. My daughter checked the ice maker and water filtration as we had an infant with us and found that there was mold built up on the ice dispenser, we did not take that a part and clean, we went out and bought bottled water. I am only able to write so many words and have ran out.

Patty is amazing! Very responsive to questions. The location is perfect for what we needed and she thought of everything. Everything you need to know is in the household handbook, which makes each person's stay fabulous. The beds are super comfortable and the outdoor area is wonderful. No need to pack shampoo, conditioner, or soap! She even has toothbrushes and toothpaste! Beach towels, beach mats, umbrella, and sand toys made our beach excursions so much easier. Don't forget to take the water jug for your feet - very useful!

Quiet secluded neighborhood but minutes to the stores and beach. Rooms were very large and lots of living room space for everyone and a 14 seat kitchen table, great for big meals together! Plus everything you need for the beach! Highly recommend for family vacation!

Graduation Weekend with Family and Friends

House is in a great area and close to the store. Lots of open space for exterior gatherings and very large living room for indoor activities. Host provided many kitchen seasonings, oils, foil, and pretty much all the things you need to make a meal taste good and to put away in the refrigerator for leftovers. Overall, the place is great for a large group and very comfortable. The only issue is check in is a bit late (5PM) and was a little issue as most of the family arrived by plane between 7:00am and 10am, so we had to find things to do for the day before we could check in.

Family vacation

The house was amazing it also had a beautiful back yard and an area that everyone could enjoy. The owner of the house was great to work with. They gave use a lot of information for what was around the area to do. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone with a large family that wants to spend some quality time together in a area that is relaxing and peaceful.

Delightful!

SUCH a nice house! Description very accurate and outdoor area fantastic. Two bathrooms got a little cozy but we knew that going in. Lots of rules but all very clear so no surprises. Patty SO responsive and helpful. We were there for a funeral so really nice that the house was not a concern. Would definitely return. Thank you Patty!
