The "Rigi-Naturferien" holiday flat is located on the ground floor of a newly built farmhouse at 1170 metres above sea level on the south side of the Rigi. It has a separate entrance, a modern, bright kitchen, a cosy living room with corner sofa and TV as well as direct access to the sunbathing lawn and covered seating area with views of Lake Lucerne and the Alps. The bedroom is furnished with a solid wood double bed, bed linen and kitchen towels are included. Bathroom with shower/WC, WLAN and a basic set of kitchen utensils and spices are provided.
The farm is in an idyllic location and can only be reached by the Rigi cable car, followed by a 15-minute walk to the accommodation. This guarantees peace and pure nature, but also means that a certain level of physical fitness and weather-appropriate equipment is required, especially in winter (sturdy shoes, warm clothing). Pets are not allowed. Luggage transport is offered.
In summer, the location is ideal for hiking, mountaineering, mountain bike tours or paragliding. There are tennis courts, climbing walls and horse-riding facilities in the surrounding area. Lake Lucerne is ideal for swimming and boat trips. Cultural and family-friendly excursion destinations such as the Lucerne Museum of Transport, Goldau Zoo, museums and the Hergiswil glass-blowing factory are within easy reach.
In winter, the region offers a wide range of possibilities: Sledging, skiing and snowboarding, snowshoe tours, cross-country skiing and winter hikes. There is also a snow sports school nearby. Those seeking relaxation can visit the Mineralbad & Spa Rigi Kaltbad or the Swiss Holiday Park.
