Beach-side Home Retreat

Our home sits on our 92 acre homestead. The homestead includes the beach, mangroves, and forest. We are situated 18 km from the nearest paved road where Mchinga Village is located and is approximately 50 km North of Lindi Town, 460 km south of Dar es Salaam, and 150 km North of Mtwara airport. The home is only 70 meters from the beach which is only shared by the occasional fishermen and women. Ideal for those who are comfortable with being in an isolated, yet safe area, and for those who love camping and nature but prefer a few comforts of home.

This is a brick home in the bush with many of Western amenities not typical of homes in this beautiful area. The guests can access forests, beach, mangrove forests to enjoy an environment not yet spoiled by two legged intruders.

Guests have access to entire home. This includes full access to upstairs to the upper master bedroom, master bath upstairs, veranda and office area, downstairs bedroom and bathroom, sitting area, dining area, and kitchen.

There will be a keeper of the dogs who is also a general grounds helper available. He has access to the compound but not the house.

Hosts will be in town and available if needed.

House is 100% solar powered.

Guests will do their own cooking. Utensils, plates, pots, spices, available. However, upon request, chef and food available for 3 meals per day for an additional $20 person/day. Please contact host in advance of checkin for this service.
