Summary:
This cozy, rustic tiny house, paneled inside and out with 100-year-old barnwood, will make you feel you've stepped into a cabin from another century. Hammered copper sinks and light fixtures and a handmade rocking chair along with WiFi, A/C and TV make this one-of-a-kind place complete for any modern traveler. Only 12 minutes from Magnolia Silos and Baylor University. NOTE: The bedroom is accessed by a steep ship's-ladder style stairway.

The Space:
Custom built using reclaimed lumber throughout, this is a true tiny house! You'll love the warm, cozy interior decorated simply in farmhouse style.

Guest Access:
The house is your's–make yourself at home!

The Neighborhood:
Beautiful, park like property with several other tiny houses and a commons area with a fire pit and grill make this a perfect place to relax away from the city.

10/10 Cozy and Intimate Cabin

This cabin was seriously so cozy and cute. Everything about it was wonderful. We loved sitting on the porch listening to the crickets. The house is a quick 15 minute drive to downtown Waco where there were so many things to do. The property owner was so hospitable and made sure we had the best and most relaxing weekend. 10/10 stay, we loved it here and would stay again. Perfect cabin for an intimate getaway for you and your partner!

Everything about this stay was 5 stars, communication was exceptional, cabin was darling (hosts thought of everything you would possibly need), front porch great for coffee in the morn and wine in the eve. It is cozy, so if you are a large person it may not be as comfortable as someone of average size. My daughter is at Baylor so this place was ideal for my husband and I to spend the weekend while visiting. Cannot say enough about how special this cabin is.

The Little Red Hen Provides Lots of Relaxation

We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay at this property. Everything was exactly as described. The property was so peaceful and quiet. It is in a great location to places nearby while being far enough out to feel like you are away from the city. The bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent throughout the stay. The Little Red Hen provided lots of memories, rest, and relaxation. We would definitely stay here again! If you are considering booking this property, do it! You won’t be disappointed! If you stay here, make sure to book a sunset horseback ride at Brazos Bluff Ranch which is just a minute down the road (it is worth it). Heritage Homestead was a fun surprise which was also right down the road. We had a blast in Waco!

Anniversary Getaway

We wanted just a quick getaway last minute and booked the "Little Red Hen" and we loved it. It was so quaint and cozy. We will be returning to try out different rentals in this community. It was a great area and is so close to everything.

Enjoyed it!

My husband, 7 year old son and I stayed for two nights. My son slept upstairs in a sleeping bag on the floor and we still had plenty of room. We loved the coziness of it and everything was really clean and nice. Bed was comfortable and water pressure was great! The only “issue” we had was getting the temperature to a comfortable setting. It was cold outside but the heaters made it too hot inside. We made it work though and that didn’t sway us from giving it 5 stars. Great place and would definitely stay again!
