The Poppy & Rye Cottage is just the cutest. Everything was so well thought out and anticipates any need you could have. Slippers, robes, cozy throw blankets, plenty of coffee, a bottle of Poppy wine, medicine cabinet goodies, even earplugs and sound machine for when you want to go to bed earlier than the music next door stops. Close enough to plenty of Waco fun, and cozy enough to stay in and chill. Thanks Dana & Rye!

Look no further for a place to stay in Waco! The Poppy & Rye Cottage is beautiful in pictures and simply magical in real life. We’ve never had a host show such attention to every single detail and more. Communication was a pleasure, the home was spotless, beds were comfy cozy and there were hidden gems of history and thoughtfulness at every turn. Dana has a gift for providing the most wonderful stay - it’s her super power. We cannot wait to return - this was a 20 out of 10 - better than many 5 star resorts.
