COTTAGE DESCRIPTION
This freshly-remodeled quaint cottage-style 2 bedroom, 2 bath home sits on a quiet tree-lined street right next door to its sister property, The Haven. The home sleeps 8 comfortably with one queen bed in private suite, two double beds in generously-sized 14'x17' suite and new sofa bed with upgraded queen-size comfy memory foam mattress.

Gather around a large kitchen table with room for 8, enjoying all the well-stocked, bright and airy kitchen has to offer. The Cottage is also stocked with waffle fixings and a hotel-style flip waffle maker as well as snacks sure to please. S’mores fixings and a generous snack basket will greet you upon arrival!

Enjoy the high-speed internet and 50" HDTV (equipped with Roku system, complimentary Netflix already logged on) and fireplace in the living area with convenient patio access. A cozy fire table outside and BBQ grill (both are propane) is also available for use in a charming, private outdoor space....perfect for s’mores under the cafe string lighting.

Both bedrooms also have HDTVs with Roku, comfortable bedding with plenty of pillow options...20 to be exact, ceiling fans, and sleep therapy clocks.

The Cottage at Chapel Ridge is ideally located, on the edge of the desirable Woodway/Hewitt area of Waco, within 15 minutes of downtown. For Fixer Upper fans, The Cottage at Chapel Ridge is situated exactly halfway between Magnolia Market at the Silos AND Chip and Joanna's first vacation rental, The Magnolia House. The Cottage has one of Chip’s props from the show...great for a fun photo op!

A public splash pad is available at Chapel Park, just around the corner from the home (1/3 mile away) and is perfect for the kids. Beach towels and sunscreen provided.

No pet fee WITH approval! (Dogs and/or small animals in crates permitted. For allergy reasons, no cats.) The backyard is fully fenced.

PARKING-

Beautiful cozy cottage! We had fresh baked cobbler and ice cream waiting for us on arrival. Loved flipping through all the pamphlets for local restaurants and other things to do and see. Two days after checking out, the owner let us return to check on a valuable personal item we thought we left behind. Overall it was a perfect stay!

Wonderful stay! Even better than the pictures. We all loved this charming house and would be happy to make it our home base any time we are in Waco. Also felt very safe in the area walking our dog around the block. Host is as good as it gets. Can't recommend highly enough!

We stayed at The Cottage to go to a Baylor football game. Great location. Lori gave us a bunch of recommendations of things to do and places to eat. We had a great time. Lori provides extra touches like starter coffee, water, toiletries and her signature peach cobbler. Highly recommend staying here.

Can I just say WOW?! Our host went over and beyond personalizing my daughter’s graduation with grad banners, a welcome card, and a delicious cake. We didn’t want to leave this beautiful and charming home. My adult kids even enjoyed all the family games the home has to offer.

Needed a one night place for Nephew and family to stay on their way to a resort. They drove from Indiana. This was perfect! Yummy apple pie and ice cream and snacks awaited them on arrival. Nice later check out time was a plus for sleepy people! Thank you Lori for accommodating our request! We were so happy it was available and so close to our own home. Will remember this one for future relative visits! Great location for groceries/necessities and an urgent care!

Best weekend getaway

This was the best cottage! The homeowner was very amazing. The communication was perfect. She was very sweet and made peach cobler, ice-cream which was amazing. She also an assortment of snacks. The entire home was stocked with everything you would have in your own home. From books, games, etc its perfect. She has a lpt of information of Waco. We appreciate her hospitality and attention to details.

The house was clean, relatively close to places we wanted to visit

Perfect Graduation Weekend

When we were planning our daughter’s graduation, I immediately knew where we wanted to stay. Lori, is an absolutely amazing host. She thinks of everything! We had stayed at the home next door in the past and the Cottage is just as beautiful as the Haven. Her homes are so inviting, spacious and yet cozy. No detail goes unnoticed. We spent the weekend celebrating our grad with our east coast family playing board games, laughing and catching up. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property and host. Lori truly is a gem!

Birthday Weekend to Remember!

My friends and I traveled to Waco to celebrate a special birthday, and Lori was the perfect host. The property was exactly as expected upon our arrival, but we were surprised to find birthday decorations and a peach cobbler in the kitchen waiting for us - how thoughtful! The accommodations were ideal for our group and so clean and welcoming. An unexpected highlight of the trip was the early morning walks in the neighborhood in which we felt completely safe and welcomed. We will be back for another birthday celebration! Thanks, Lori!
