Lovely, family run camp in Wadi Rum national park. The dinner is an amazing spectacle that is cooked in a traditional pit oven. The tours of the white and red desert are spectacular and worth every penny, the views will take your breath away. Rashid and Fadi are brilliant hosts and answer all your questions.
I recently stayed at Wadi Rum Magic Camp and it was truly a memorable experience. The Bedouin hospitality made us feel welcome and at home. The location is absolutely stunning deep in the Wadi Rum desert with breathtaking views of the sunset and the surrounding mountains. The camp was comfortable and clean, and it was perfect after an entire day full of adventure. The Jeep tour was the perfect way to explore Wadi-Rum our guide Awad was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, authentic and traditional. The evening around the fire camp sipping tea and gazing at star was something we will never forget. It felt peaceful, real and unlike anything youâll find in a hotel.
Reservation:
We totally loved our stay in Wadi Rum Magic Nature Camp. We booked this camp very last minute (2hours before our arrival) because another camp acted very rude to us, trying to rip off, hence, we had to cancel our previous booking.
Tours: They even helped to arrange tours with just less than one hour to prepare. Despite the short notice, everything was so smoothly arranged and well prepared. Rashid greeted us at the Visitor Center and took us to their office for tea and lunch. Tour started right after the lunch and Awad took us to many different places including the sunset spot (the day we stayed was quite hazy and itâs a pity we did not get to see much of sunset. Another reason to come back!).
Food: I heard about the good comments about Beduin food and their food was no less than our high expectations. Magic Nature Camp is run by brothers and we wish we couldâve stayed a few more days to visit their father for fresh goat milk produces!
Room: We stayed at a four-bed room. Each bed was just slightly smaller than a double bed so I had plenty of room to sleep in. Floor was in carpet and was very clean and neat. Bathroom: bathrooms are separated from rooms and need to share. But it was extremely clean and tidy. Not sure if itâs the culture but I find the bathrooms in Jordan are generally very clean. I travelled 45 countries and I think Jordanian bathrooms are one of the top 5.
Drop-off: Rahed helped us with the luggages dropping us from the camp to the office
I had a really pleasant stay at this camp in Wadi Rum. The staff were all very kind and welcoming, which made the experience feel warm and comfortable right from the start.
The food was greatâtasty and satisfying after a day out exploring. The beds were also surprisingly comfortable, which made for a good nightâs rest under the stars.
The surroundings were just beautiful. Thereâs something special about the quiet and vastness of the desert that really stays with you. Nature was all around, and it made the whole stay feel peaceful and refreshing.
I also enjoyed the tourâit was a fun way to take in the landscape and get a feel for the area. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and Iâd definitely consider coming back.
