Stay at the Marcus Whitman every time!

Amazing service, comfortable and welcoming. We had a wonderful time both in Walla Walla as well as in the hotel. We were treated to a fabulous piano player in the lobby one night, enjoyed the excellent espresso in the mornings, and still didn’t want to leave the room.

In the Marcus Whitman is in the heart of Walla Walla easy walking distance to all of the wine tasting sellers. Beautiful lobby with fireplace and lots of comfortable couch seating to hang around with your bottle of wine after dinner or mid afternoon.

Cold Shower With Perfect Stay

Traveling from the San Juan z island to our hometown is a 6 hour venture. It was a real treat to stay at in our hometown high tower. It was amazing. Until we woke up to shower for an event and there was no hot water as the boiler had been, somehow, tripped. The hosts were gracious enough to offer us another room. Instead, we took the ice cold, invigorating, shower and had hot water by mid afternoon. Otherwise, it was fantastic!

This is a fabulous hotel. I’ve stayed here a few times, but this time I didn’t have a good experience. I have an older dog who needs to be walked and usually has to pee in the middle of the night. The hotel doesn’t have any entries that are open And there is no way to get in with the key card. I was locked out of the building two times. There were other difficulties with my stay. I will definitely stay at a different hotel next time I visit town even though the market can be wonderful.

Had a one week stay here. It's located conveniently in town and a short drive to restaurants. Shower head had pink and black mold. Body hair from previous occupants on the ceiling. Bathroom is not thoroughly cleaned. Nice hotel lobby. Room was pretty basic. Comfortable bed. A few days in, I called the front desk in the morning asking for the room to be cleaned and refreshed. Returned that evening and it had not been done. Front desk did a towel refresh themselves. Overall, the stay was nice but nothing to write home about.
