An older and smaller motel, but very nice and extremely friendly staff/reception. Had a loud neighbour and when they were outside you can hear everything, so be mindful if you have noise sensitivities. But not an issue with the motel. Some kitchen/cooking restrictions so don't plan elaborate or very spicy/pungeant meals. Otherwise, good stay.

Really enjoyed my stay at Alpine Motel. Very convenient location for exploring Wānaka. The staff were very friendly and helpful and talked about some good options for things to do etc in Wānaka at check in. The convenience and closeness to the lake was also really good. It was also quiet and warm. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Stay and Wonderful Staff

The accomodation was modern, clean, had everything we needed and well located. The standout was the lady on reception - she is super passionate about Wanaka and it was a delight to hear her recommendations on things to do! We did her recommended bike ride and it’s the highlight of our trip so far! Would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back for longer next time!

Very convenient location in Wanaka. Walked to dinner, grocery store, market and the Lake front. Room kitchen and bathroom were a bit dated but everything worked fine. Would certainly stay here again.
