This modern efficient home was custom built only 3 years ago to soak in plenty of all day sun, situated in a friendly cul-de-sac with ample off street parking for the boat and double garaging for the cars and toys, complete with gas BBQ and wonderful mountain views for you to enjoy whilst in this very special part of the world.This home is very special to us as you are, enjoy during your stay in Wanaka.

Almost great

The property was clean, modern and in a good location for what we wanted. The only downside was the multiple notes and instructions around the house telling guests what NOT to do making the whole stay feel very unwelcoming. According to the instructions, the multiple rules seemed to all be liable to incur an additional charge if not followed and any less than positive or constructive feedback in the guest book was met with written reply from the owner which the guests would clearly never have a chance to read. Things like availability of toilet paper and towels were limited for the number of guests and days booked for and overall quality of linen, bedding and pillows was low. The guests i stayed with felt so uncomfortable that they walked around the house videoing it upon check out to ensure that no additional charges where unduly added. In a nutshell, it was an absolutely beautiful house and perfectly clean but due to the unwelcoming nature, we would not stay there again.

Perfectly appointed and located in Wanaka

This property was absolutely perfect for our 3 day ski trip to Cardrona and Treble Cone - located just about perfectly between the two ski resorts just off the main road - the location could not have been better. Lindsay and Nora contacted me with plenty of time to access the property and even followed up with us before we left Wanaka when we had inadvertently left a couple of things behind - thank you! The property was spacious, warm, and had a well appointed kitchen which was important for us as we had all our dinners at the house after full days on the mountain while we were there. The beds were comfy and the showers had plenty of warm water. It was a quick 5 minute drive into Wanaka and to hire our ski gear. Its a perfect place to base yourself to explore everything on offer in the region - whatever the season. I would definitely stay here again. :)

School holiday roadie

We stayed four nights as part of a 10 day SI road trip. The family loved the location, mountain views and presentation of the property. Probably the highlight was the two bunk beds for the kids. Lindsay's communication in advance and during our stay was superb. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when in town.
