Tranquil Stream Side Retreat

The Space:
Located in the heart of Wanaka, this modern alpine accommodation provides a tranquil stream side retreat with Spa Pool.

Make this your base for adventures whether it be skiing or snowboarding in the winter months or hiking, fishing, hunting, kayaking, boating or sailing in the summer. Private, and only a short stroll to the lake, shops and restaurants.

This two-level townhouse consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms with the master bedroom and lounge flowing out onto an idyllic outdoor living space with Bullock Creek meandering through the back of the property.

Upstairs one bathroom and two bedrooms with their own balconies, downstairs has one bedroom with ensuite and walk in wardrobe. Each bedroom has its own heater.

The high spec designer kitchen is equipped with a wine fridge, dual cooking hobs and quality kitchenware.

This is self-catering accommodation however for your convenience, we will get you started with a few rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, dishwashing liquid and dishwasher detergent along with a couple of tea towels, dishcloth, 2 bin liners and laundry liquid. We use only eco-friendly cleaning products. Sheets and towels are provided. We recommend you bring your own beach towels.

Interaction with Guests:
Wanaka Holiday Homes office hours are Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm and Saturday: 9am to 2pm. We are available after hours for urgent matters. You will be provided with arrival instructions one week prior to arrival. This is self catering holiday home accommodation. We provide sheets and towels but you will need to bring you own personal supplies.

We had a great stay here: modern, spotlessly clean & nicely decorated (loved the walk in wardrobe with the master bedroom!). Extremily well appointed kitchen. Whatever the house may lack with grand views, it makes up for with the calm tranquility of the babbling brook out the back, & it's feathered residents ready to welcome you! Hosts were responsive, efficient & warmly welcoming. The spa pool was perfectly clean & ready to go - a delicious 39 deg C! We'd happily stay here again.

Met all our expectations

56B Tenby Street worked out really well for us. All the facilities were well up to scratch and so was the property as a whole. Residual gripe was the teenage ducks from Bullock Creek wandering inside without being invited!

Perfectly Formed

The property was really nicely fitted out and was perfectly formed for our family of 4. All the rooms were good sizes and it was quiet. The spa and table tennis table were nice distractions after a days skiing and exploring. We walked to town for dinner every night without complaint. Excellent comms from the managers and they were really proactive with fixing a minor issue. Would definitely recommend if you want to stay close to town.

Can relax even with little kids

Lovely experience for little ones (2 and 4) with resident ducks and hot jacuzzi before bed. Wanaka also has so much to offer - everything is a 5 min drive and fun for adults and kids. Or just stroll 10 mins from this property to feed the eels and ducks at the lakefront. Went in the winter and it was beautiful. Just have to wrap up. Bring slippers

We loved it!

We only heard the construction one afternoon while we were there. The house next to us was under repairs. It was a beautiful setting in a beautiful neighborhood. We loved seeing the ducks every morning and made adequate use of the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the house was cozy. Relaxing by the fire in the living room with a beautiful backyard view was the best. It was so convenient to walk to town and the beach. There is a winery nearby. Great vaca!! Would stay there again for sure.
