Clean bathroom, nice foyer. That’s where it ends. This place needs a complete redo apart from that. Mould in the window area, wallpaper peeling off the walls. Mattress didn’t fit the bed. Not good.

Understaffed, rooms nor cleaned. Finger marks on wardrobe door, there for all our stay. Dirty laundry dumped outside ready for collection there for two days . Staff attempting to man reception, cover bar and help with dining. Closing the bar for 15 minutes to try to catch up. Dust in dining room windowsill had been there a long time: glasses left outside lift for two days. One lift not working. The hotel needs complete overhaul with more staff. We will not be using there again.

Its nice hotel, clean, great people, good food. The only thing its definitely not 4 stars, its hardly 3. I would reccomend cleaning dishes and cups better, all were dirty. Overall stay was good, not far away from castle that was the main reason to book.
