During seasonal transitions, HVAC adjustments are managed by the building association based on outdoor temperatures.

The apartment was nice. However, when we arrived I messaged in the app that one of the toilets was not working properly. I was told maintenance was off duty and they would check on us the following day. Around 3am we are awakened by a loud knock at the door. Upon stepping out of the bed to answer the door, we step into a floor that is covered in water. The floor in the bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen are filled with water. The occupants in the unit next door called emergency maintenance due to the water going into their unit. The guy was very helpful as he brought a shop vac to clean up the mess. He left fans blowing to dry the floor. Those fans were so loud we could not go back to sleep. I immediately messaged the owners in the VRBO app and was told they would follow up with me in the morning. Around noon, when I hadn’t heard from them I called the number I had. Diane was apologetic but seems to have no sense of urgency. We left around 1 pm and the owner’s maintenance team still had not shown up. I am planning to demand a refund and will NEVER stay at another We Host property!

Overall the condo was very nice. The residents were pleasant when we met people in the halls. The property was very clean. We enjoyed the pool, and it had a lifeguard on duty which is a rare find in a vacation rental. There is also a common room with a pool table and ski ball table, and a fantastic work out facility across the hallway. The hallways were a bit of a maze, so we got turned around a few times, but all in all we were happy with our stay. There is an Aldi store and coffee shop right across the parking lot, which was very convenient. As far as the actual room goes, it was clean and nice. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were huge. The pictures online are accurate to what the property looks like. I would recommend this property.

Nice place to stay but check in needs help

The property and amenities, like the pool and gym, were wonderful. The apartment had plenty of space for four adults and one teenager, but the kitchen table only had four chairs. The bottom floor of the complex had an Aldi and the balcony was spacious with nice views and plenty of seating. Walmart was a short walk across the street There were bath towels but no kitchen or pool towels. The beds were comfortable but the master could use blackout curtains since we were woken early when the sun came out through the blinds. The parking was in a adjoining structure. The parking was nice and secure but cost extra. The freezer ice maker came in handy multiple days. They left us multiple dishwasher tabs and enough dish soup in liquid form. They left five dishwasher tabs, two garbage bags for each garbage can, one roll of paper towel, and two laundry tabs and dryer sheets. They also left pots, pans, utensils, and silverware. (No seasoning)Someone was suppose to meet us in the lobby but no one met us. We contacted the host and they initially gave us the wrong room number. The keys and parking pass were in the unlocked room. We had to bother other guest to help us access (with their passkey) the lobby, elevator and hallway doors before we could reach our room. The host usually responded in a short time. We would stay here again. The neighbors were friendly, too.

Pass

Nice looking condo. About two blocks away from a fire department. You will hear sirens day and night. Only one parking permit is allowed which was okay for us but I prefer to have two. Also somebody was fatally stabbed 500 ft away and the entire neighborhood was cordoned off for one whole day. It made the Washington DC news and thus I left early. I was promised some form of refund but never received it. I don't recommend it
