Other Things to Note:
A few things to know: this is a no-smoking, no-parties property â we're in a residential neighborhood and we respect our neighbors. Pets are welcome. The property sits next to a historic cemetery, which guests consistently describe as peaceful and quiet (see our reviews!). Short-term stays are warmly welcomed.
Interaction with Guests:
We're a remote-friendly hosting operation â you'll have the whole place to yourselves with complete privacy from check-in to checkout. Everything you need to get settled is handled through the smart lock and a digital welcome guide. We're highly responsive by message if anything comes up, but we won't be dropping by. Think of us as available in the background â there when you need us, invisible when you don't.
We found Adam's townhouse during one of the most stressful weeks of our family's life â we had a procedure at Children's National and needed somewhere close by for our group to stay together. Being just one block away was truly a godsend. Instead of cramming into a hotel or splitting up across different rooms, we had a warm, beautiful home where our whole family could be under one roof, cook our own meals, and support each other.
A group of us moms packed up the kids and headed to DC for the weekend and Adam's townhouse was the absolute best decision we made. The space is big enough that the kids had room to be kids while the adults actually had room to breathe â which if you've ever traveled with a group of little ones you know is everything. The full kitchen meant we could keep everyone fed on our own schedule without the chaos of restaurants every single meal, and the neighborhood was calm and easy to navigate with strollers and little legs. The kids loved having a real home to come back to after long days at the museums and monuments, and the moms loved having a beautiful, comfortable space to unwind in once bedtime hit. Adam was wonderful throughout and thought of every detail. Exactly the kind of trip we needed â and the kids are already asking when we're going back.
Six of us stayed an extra night after the White House correspondence dinner and Adam's place was the perfect way to extend the weekend. The last thing you want is a cramped hotel room â having a full, beautiful townhouse to spread out in made all the difference. The beds were incredible after a long weekend, the kitchen got us sorted in the morning, and the whole house just has a warmth and elegance that fit the occasion perfectly. Glad we stayed the extra night.
Fourteen of us came together from across the country for a family reunion weekend in DC and Adam's townhouse was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Everyone had their own space, the kitchen kept us all fed and together, and the rooftop became our family's favorite spot morning, noon, and night. Being in the heart of the city meant the monuments and museums were right at our fingertips, and coming back each evening to our own beautiful home base made everything feel special. This is exactly the kind of place that turns a good family trip into one everyone talks about for years. We couldn't have asked for more.
Came for one night with a group to enjoy the beautiful DC weather and this place was perfect. The rooftop was absolutely unreal on a sunny day â we didn't want to leave. Adam was great and the house was spotless. Already looking for an excuse to come back!
