It was very loud, stairs are dangerous, and requires a 100 dollar deposit before check in that was never returned to my bank account. For 200 dollars a night we could have gone to a much nicer place.

Yes the air conditioning is functional and pretty nice! Shops nearby are definitely not very traversable via car. Walking is a little sketchy in the area but only at night. A nice base for us to start at!
